Well, that’s disappointing—thanks for the detective work. Qwant has seemed to be less manipulated in comparison to other search engines (including Duck Duck Go, which is what I used to use until I found it seemed to be skewing the results, although not nearly as obviously as Google does).
This is why I usually use at least four different search engines when digging into a topic (Qwant, DDG, Brave, and Google for comparison). It takes a Herculean effort to sift through the algorithmic filtering.
I haven’t directly used “Giggles” in years. DuckDuckGo go is much more accurate… if that’s what you want. Obviously, many don’t…. Dr. Malone, you are very important. Period.

I took an undergrad course on globalization and interned for a spell at Global Trade Watch/Public Citizen so I got an intro to their views on MNCs. The left traditionally distrusts/criticizes multinational corporations and Big Pharma. Where the hell are they?
It is if the world has turned upside down in terms of ideology. I believe that it comes down to collectivism versus classical liberalism (what we now call libertarianism in the USA). Moving beyond that, the use of "purity" tests and "virtue signaling" are symptoms of Jacobinism (see French revolution - aftermath).

Here in the UK . . . the history of the past 200 years is being altered . . . events whitewashed out, statues cancelled, building renamed, streets renamed, with people of great influence being written out. We need so much more attention on the psychological and mental health aspects of the pandemic. The social psychology knowledge base on influence, cognitive biases, persuasion and the clinical psychology wisdom on trauma, fear, depression, anxiety, loneliness and so on.
