My impression is that we, who are awake and paying attention, recognize we are severely challenged by many apparently unique forces. They none the less appear to have common goals. Goals we oppose. Thanks, I’m trying. She was a nurse for 50y and hates the side effects of statins and this is for a statin, her Cholesterol is only 226 and coming down with diet and exercise. She’s a breast cancer survivor and takes zero Rx because she’s healthy. But her Dr’s fears have her confused and scared. It seems like Rx is required these days, even if it’s not in your best interest at the time.
My wife worked for a lipid group in the Texas Med Center and those docs became very cautious about statins only rx-ing them when numbers really demanded it.
Most doctors are very expensive drug dealers. Statins will have terrible side effects. My cholesterol was a bit high one time and the doc immediately wrote me a prescription for statins and said I'd be on them for the rest of my life. I did not take them. I started using non-fat milk instead of cream in my coffee. I went back to see him in 3 months and my cholesterol was normal levels. He never even suggested that I try anything new in my diet. He did say to not eat eggs, which is also total bull! Eggs are good for you. Anyway. If her numbers are coming down with diet and exercise. I'd stick to that and say no to the drugs. Just my opinion of course and I'm not a doctor, but we all have to make these decisions for ourselves.

We absolutely 💯 do have a VERY SICK COUNTRY.
I do however disagree on the method of treatment. Many people have died from cancer and MANY have SURVIVED. A big component that contributed to their survival was a PMA!
We JUST CAN'T give up, we can't back down and we have to make sure that we don't fall into their trap!!!

I disagree that on January 6 “we were violent as you portrayed it”, thought there were a lot of violence, the majority of people were pacific law abiding citizens that were protesting a clearly full of irregularities election where there were hundreds of witnesses and videos of fraud committed by democrats that were ignored by all the media.
On January 6 there were many Antifa and BLM members along with undercover FBI members and others working for them pretending to be Trump supporters, and regardless that there were stupid Trump supporters that were violent, due to the immense amount of people, some violence was expected, however, that’s “what made an easy set up” by Democrats with the help of the ones mentioned above, as well as a cover up with a bigger help from the media!
Also, when I say nuclear war, I don’t mean it's a method of treatment “from us” (it ‘s clear that under the policies of this government, we are on a path of nuclear war!) and when I mention cancer, it’s generalizing and a reality as “what happens (or is happening) in general”
And in the case of Trump ( it’s just an opinion) that there isn’t anyone else with guts to tell and fight for the truth (or freedom) because the majority of republicans or conservatives accept the narrative of the lying democrats!

My impression is that we, who are awake and paying attention, recognize we are severely challenged by many apparently unique forces. They none the less appear to have common goals. Goals we oppose. We are reflecting on potentially effective strategies to thwart them. We are trying to spread the word and work together. As opportunities arise, we as individuals or a group take advantage them.
It seems to me, I personally have a choice to fully submit to the unacceptable forces or, so to speak, go down fighting. I/we may or may not win. I elect to go down fighting should that turn out to be the ultimate outcome. Maybe, as we are trying to help ourselves (and the rest of us), God will decide to come to our aid.
To each, its our choice.
Many of us in our 70s choose to fight to the end. But I would have fought 50 years ago if we were faced with communists truly taking over the government and dismantling our history.
Our problem was we didn't learn/recognize that they were attacking us through our schools and our children. No doubt they infiltrated other quarters as well. Low key and blending in.

For most of my 70 plus years I felt that the left's use of the words "conspiracy theorist" was sarcastic. We were on the money all along. I realize the words cam about due to JFK's assassination.

People need to feel important and a crisis gives them that. I've been reading several novels about WWII and the fascists were religious fanatics. There's a difference between personal power and domination. The British developed personal power during the air raids, especially the Blitz, while the Nazis and their collaborators got high by brutalizing as many people as they could.

I bought several copies and gave them away.( I have a few of his other books, but somehow overlooked The State of Exception, so thanks for writing about that). Your quote from Where Are We Now is one I have quoted often. The attacks on Agamben by his fellow academics have been brutal, no surprise there. I hope he writes another book soon.

I met a man in Greece recently and we discussed 1984 at length. He’s one of only a handful of people familiar with the book I’ve met since I began asking people during Covid if they know Orwell. It seems the under 30 crowd are ignorant and fearless about the warning signs so obvious in 1984. Thanks for the reference to Agamben’s book it sounds very interesting.
I notice the same thing so I would think that most public schools and schools with leftist leaders are not using 1984 and Animal Farm as required reading. I read both in high school in the mid 1960s. We also read None Dare Call It Treason in our Catholic high school in Brooklyn, NY.

She has the right to reject her doctor's advice. Perhaps her generation thinks that docs are always right after all they went to many years of school and are smarter than me. That was typical, but now we know better. Just take a look at the side effects of any pharmaceutical. Help her stand strong and say NO!
Thanks, I’m trying. She was a nurse for 50y and hates the side effects of statins and this is for a statin, her Cholesterol is only 226 and coming down with diet and exercise. She’s a breast cancer survivor and takes zero Rx because she’s healthy. But her Dr’s fears have her confused and scared. It seems like Rx is required these days, even if it’s not in your best interest at the time.

My wife worked for a lipid group in the Texas Med Center and those docs became very cautious about statins only rx-ing them when numbers really demanded it.
Most doctors are very expensive drug dealers. Statins will have terrible side effects. My cholesterol was a bit high one time and the doc immediately wrote me a prescription for statins and said I'd be on them for the rest of my life. I did not take them. I started using non-fat milk instead of cream in my coffee. I went back to see him in 3 months and my cholesterol was normal levels. He never even suggested that I try anything new in my diet. He did say to not eat eggs, which is also total bull! Eggs are good for you. Anyway. If her numbers are coming down with diet and exercise. I'd stick to that and say no to the drugs. Just my opinion of course and I'm not a doctor, but we all have to make these decisions for ourselves.

A simple test of any policy or law is whether at the core of its existence, the purpose is for the greatest and highest good for all of humanity. If not, or if it is deceptive in nature, it simply must be discarded and not complied with. Humanity has a strong weapon and that is the right to say NO, and act by stopping all support for whatever it is that is curtailing its rights. We have been wrongly conditioned on all levels to be obedient to government. This is a disservice to ourselves and humanity as a whole.
If the government is taking action humanity finds repugnant or violative of any of its rights, we have the right and obligation to refuse to pay taxes in support of such policies so as to shut them down..
The gov't has threatened to and has put people in jail wrongfully to create fear in the masses. But when the masses rebel, the gov't collapses. Remember, if a government is of, by and for its people, then how can it ever make any policies that screw the people? It's only when Gov't answers to others it has allowed to control it that we the people really get screwed.
