Is it ad hominem to point out that a public health expert is clearly an unhealthy glutton? Asking for a friend… ; )

I'm no Hotez fan, but I liked him better than Rogan in that short clip in which Rogan comes across to me as someone who is unnaturally health-obsessed (with health not being the most important thing in life) and prideful in thinking he knows how to achieve or maintain health, while at the same time being somewhat insecure about it to the point he feels he needs to convert Hotez to his point of view - while Hotez comes across as more human, admitting that he likes to snack on food that he and his daughter like to eat sometimes because it tastes good. As Alan Watts used to say, there's no real reason why we should force ourselves, against our real wants, to live a "healthy" lifestyle (or what we have been taught to believe is healthy) so we live a relatively long time, as opposed to just doing what we feel like and enjoy doing, even if it means we'll live less years. I agree with him that it's simply a matter of personal preference and criticizing people because their preference is different is foolish.

Oh absolutely, I’ll take a pot bellied, cigar chomping, alcoholic Churchill who enjoys life over an exercise obsessed vegetarian Fuhrer any day of the week…

But I don’t think Rogan (or I) would have brought the incredibly unhealthy habits/appearance up if not for the fact that it is flabbergastingly at odds with his desire to force everyone else in the world, including little children, to vaccinate themselves with experimental chemicals *in the explicit name of their bodily health*. It’s like, if you wanna live and let live, that’s great, but if you’re gonna destroy our lives in the name of health and then just casually scarf down another big gulp, things don’t sit right…

Nicely said, Adrian. It's the hypocrisy, but I'll add the pathological lying devoid of any integrity whatsoever.

Also though I totally admire and support Joe Rogan, he is not the perfect exemplar of healthy living. His fitness and martial arts workouts are hyper-ambitious and advanced to his credit, but his substance-intake is worrisome. He admits he drinks too much alcohol, and he smokes too much pot as well. Though he is wisely skeptical of vaccines, he could direct some of that skepticism towards all the vitamins, and supplements he takes. I'm agnostic on his weekly schedule of hot sauna followed by cold plunges, but clearly most people don't have access to those facilities, so it is not a great public health program for the masses.

I wanna bet you're overweight and live mostly on junk.

Nope, I'm 90 pounds and need to eat what I think is a pretty good diet as my digestion isn't the best. I won't eat too differently if my condition improves, but I will add a few things...

In a way, the diversion into personal lifestyles ignores real issues. We can avoid the side issues.

...and to me he sounds a bit moronic when he speaks his rubbish.

But "your friend" needs to focus on what he says. Oh, wait...

Nope, just an objective observation, the kind of observation used in finding truth.

I am 70 and have been at politics for quite a few decades. I would never cross swords with Rogan in a debate, let alone try to stab him in the back with the same sword.

When all of this is over, Rogan will be seen as one of the heroes of the free speech part of this battle.

Expand full comment

Absolutely - as anyone who has listened to him will know, he always says let’s talk through it - defend your position.

Rogan was 'extra' nice to him during that 2019 interview, even though Bow Tie made attempts to claim why many were not behind vaccines, and who was behind those pushing against it and why. When Rogan pressed as to why he would not debate the issue – Bow Tie copped out by saying it would only give ‘them’ credibility. I believe that there is a deep-dive school that trains pontificators on the artful acts of dodge/deflect/deceit/double talk.

Yes, a very nice way to treat people, and he is a good listener.

I for one really enjoyed the crazy on Twitter this past weekend. I usually don't care, but when you have Elon Musk amplifying the situation with to the point tweets, it makes it a lot of fun. Hotez's retweet of supporters was hilarious btw. A Midwestern Doc's piece on him the other day was spot on. Hotez and the rest like him are cowards. That was proven this weekend. He had to run to the safe space of MSNBC to rally his team's narrative that scientists SHOULDN'T debate non scientists because it amplifies their message....huh. BUT someone made a really good point on Twitter: if Hotez and the rest of the computer warrior elites can endorse (nay sanctify) a non-scientist like Bill Gates as an expert, why not RFK? It's all so frustrating. not surprising, but frustrating.

And lastly, the fact that Mark Cuban got into the mix, seemingly to challenge Rogan, and really got to promote his own online prescription company to the point that Musk said was going to mention it to Tesla and Space X heads was hysterical and a masterclass at manipulating a marketing opportunity. Never let a crisis go to waste lol

Excellent point about Gates. He does not even have a college degree, as I recall, but he does have a Ph.D in taking credit for the work of others and is currently working on another degree in Evil Overlord.

An RFK v. Hotez debate would be great step forward, but I think we need to continue calling for roundtable discussion - between people who admit they don't know everything and could possibly learn something from listening to people they currently disagree with. I'd like to see two days set aside for a discussion between, say, Dr. Malone, Dr. Ladapo, Dr. Vanden Bossche, Dr. Cole, Dr. Kory, and Dr. McCullough, on one side, and Dr. Fauci, Dr. Jha, Dr. Walensky, Dr. Hotez, Dr. Osterholm and Dr. Topol, on the other, under fair rules, say going around with each person having up to X minutes to speak each time. I don't expect that will ever happen, but I think it's the stars we can aim for to hopefully begin to heal the rift in science and achieve some degree of discourse and consensus, especially with the threats of a dangerous Covid variant (as per Dr. Vanden Bossche) and a possible avian flu pandemic looming, not to mention the continuing catastrophic iatrogenesis which at least seems to be occurring.

I’d pay to see that!

I've seen a lot of debate in other comment forums about a Hotez/Kennedy debate. In the Yahoo forum, the "Hotez shouldn't debate" crowd is outnumbering the pro-debaters. "Hotez is a virologist." "Kennedy's not qualified." "I trust the science." "A public debate wouldn't settle anything."

I advocate for a public debate. In a public debate forum, Hotez will make his best arguments why he's right. Kennedy will make his best arguments why he's right. Each member of the public can make up their own minds who's right.

I want to hear that debate. I want to make up my own mind. If the anti-debaters don't want to do that, they don't have to.

"The truth lives a wretched life, but it never dies." Many people have been pointing at certain vaccines as possible culprits for autism for decades. I think it is time to explore the issue with matched volunteer families and watch to see what happens if certain vaccines are delayed over the next 3-4 years. No placebo injections, so that no tricks can be played.

Shouldn't be a problem finding families delaying the vaccines! The past 3 years have created so much dis-trust that I think the vaccine rates must be very, very low. The fact that they aren't putting those stats out tells me I'm probably right. :)

I went from knowing not one parent who had unvaccinated children to virtually all of the parents I now know halting all further vaccinations. You betcha were out there!

Our family will never touch another vaccine, and there will be no shots of any kind for the new addition. I wish I had known what I do now when my children were born. As much as we curse it, there are some good things about the internet.

Hi Dr. Ma-lion/ess!! This is why I love your substack! I would spring for gourmet caramel popcorn for that debate. (I just got a $3,329.39 settlement for the Pfizer epi-pen racketeering case so I can afford it!) Thank you for sacrificing your Father's Day for the cause against the Cult of Scientism that sacrifices and worships on the Altar of Greed.

Happy Father's Day and because you care for your farm animals and horses so lovingly we should probably say "Happy Farmer's Day", too.

Love it! Most fascinating man for sure! ;)

Hope to catch Kirk! Have been closely following the issues and battles. Hotez avoiding the would be interview at his home was priceless. Joshua Phillips coverage makes matters look even more bleak for the elitists. From my corner of the world Hotez is between a BIG Rock and a very hard place. Definitely NO WIN! I'm much for a thorough assessment of all the entries on the children's schedule. A Major NO to another Covid 'vaccine' in.any form.

Very much looking forward to your contributions! Have a priceless day and beyond! Very bestest ♡♡♡

Character assassination has become a fine art form because of the many years of practice done by wordsmiths employed by institutions that are molding and manipulating the US economy. The Covid con is the crowning glory in this effort, and keeping a lid on the truth, becomes more and more difficult, and at sometime the house of cards will collapse!

I saw the after interview with Mendi Hassan and Peter Hotez on MSNBC. Mendi sounded like Peters spouse trying to stick up for and build back up his partner after a brush up with a co worker. I was waiting to see them hug and some tears. A few things that stuck out to me. First Mendi said Peter should never debate RFK Jr. after Mendi said he wrote a book on debates. Second Peter said he wrote a book and included in the book he wrote 200,000 people died because they were unvaccinated. If you watch the interview he makes it seem because he wrote it in his book it’s true. I honestly think he’s a compulsive liar and pushes the vaccine for profit. If he was so sure of his science he would 1st debate and second stop looking so hard for the government to censure everyone that disagrees with him. He is frail and weak. If this is the best they have they need to censure people. J.Goodrich

Thank you, Dr.s Malone! Will have to catch up on this particular shit-storm in a bit and then watch your latest video. Heaved a sigh to see that you were pressed into service yet again, though, and on Father's Day no less. All the more respect and admiration for you both. And thanks for sharing the awesome video from last year again! Much love to you both, and all the best.

People have awakened. The action of academics in the universities has shown them...how little the schools are teaching; and how limited in thinking college graduates are today. Many do not intend to send their children on to schools of Lower Learning. After the last three devastating years, many people are coming out of it far more aware. People are not as apathetic...and know that "educated fools" that they trusted have led them down the rabbit hole.

I want very badly to believe you are right but I don't think it's happening here in Canada. Most Canadians deliberately have their heads buried in the sand as deep as they can go, especially academics and professionals. As someone posted on Twitter the other day, Covid was good for waking a lot of people up but it's probably going to take another big event to wake up the next batch. And that means a lot of pain for those of us who know what's going on.

Agree that Canada is in trouble. The elections are corrupted by using the malleable Dominion machines output as directed by the WEF / elites . The installed PM (WEF) combined with the NDP leader( WEF) to bastard together a majority that represents the elites makes Canadas future appear grim . Parliament is WEF infested and the media is owned by the party in power. The dependency on government handouts and the resulting compliance of the public is a huge hurdle .Even after the tyranny of the government against the truckers and the Christian pastors and the brutal oppression of the charter during the plandemic many are still waiting for the government to “Allow “everything to get back to normal.Wake Up Canada! On a happier note .,Alberta’s PM shows promise..
