There are what, 7 or 8 billion people on the planet? And if we counted up all those who could raise an emu, shoe the horses, fix a tractor, AND write a long essay on the complex molecular immunology of antigen processing and presentation via Class I and Class II Major Histocompatibility Complex proteins, there wouldn't be enough to form a professional society. Yeah, you could hold those "meetings" in a phone booth, if those still existed. That's a pretty unique skill set. Gotta feel good.
