I believe I have said this before, maybe not here, but humans have the survival instinct embedded deep within the DNA. The human mind has infinite variety and can problem solve in ways AI never will. We have managed to survive for eons without benefit of AI through unimaginable chaos, strife, catastrophes and mayhem. Humans figure out how to feed, clothe and shelter themselves. AI needs electricity or batteries to survive, both of which are fragile commodities that can be shut off. EMPs, computer hacked control bases, as happened recently with the airlines, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis (Fukushima is still dumping millions of gallons of irradiated water into the ocean).

There is nothing humans can design, create, manufacture, that cannot be usurped and used for nefarious purposes and often is. Then some human comes up with another idea. Action/Reaction. All of the efforts made toward eliminating/replacing humans can be defined as satan seeking to destroy God's perfect creation. God wins but that doesn't mean we don't have to put on the full armor and stand.

Nice post.

Perhaps future generations (if there are any) will be peddle stationary bikes to generate a little electricity to keep their food refrigerated. Natural resources will be dedicated to maintaining AI and the comforts of those operating the control levers. I wonder what happens during power surges or outages. Just the word artificial gives me the shivers. Who wants to live in an artificial world?

Seems to me we already live in artificial world, or clown world, or carney world, however you wish to tag it. All the same - it's a world that thrives on lies. I thought this Neil Oliver video said it all. "...a world where the truth is nothing more than the powerful say it is..."

Honestly, I'm old and one foot out the door so my concern is for my grands and great grands. What a world to leave to them. :-(
