I think AI is a great tool when not abused, it is being abused though. We are in the wild west stage, and we need to install a new sheriff in town along with his deputies. No one can predict the future unless they are clairvoyant which is a rare phenomenon. I think transhumanism will have its limits; some aspects will help those who are injured. I worry about those who will be harmed in the transhumanist experiment, and there will be costs. I think there is a creative force that our interface brain taps into and interprets based on learning, emotion and instinct. ASI I don't believe will ever be able to connect with consciousness as we can, its medium is material, and our 'mind 'is not, although mind does have a relationship to the brain, it is not the hardware.

"What they'd all forgotten-the globalist elites, the predator class, the puppet-masters, the kleptocrats, the red-carpet mafia, call them what you want-what they'd forgotten about pandemonium is that once you set it loose to rampage you can't as easily whistle it back into the box again."

I was thinking maybe it is time to design and manufacture a small handheld EMP device, sort of like a taser one can carry attached to the key ring. Then, when threatened by a robot one could just go ZAP!

That would be the easy part, the real threat is using our own bio data and all our data against us. Privacy is like the immune system; it keeps bad things out and we allow what we want in. Our psychological immune system is being annihilated with propaganda, censorship, surveillance etc....Society let privacy slip through its fingers not realizing how essential it is for self-preservation. I wish there was a meme that highlighted the right and need for privacy and trespassing privacy should be illegal.

I have been offering up bits of suggestions for several years now - about going under the radar. It's going to take small groups of people ready to go offline completely. One reasont the Taliban survived and is now flourishing again is that they passed hand written notes to each other to spread a word. When the devil goes high tech - the opposition goes low tech. Sort of like the French Underground or Corrie Ten-Boom. It is possible to outsmart the devil, you just have to ask God to guide you.
