It’s great to hear the words of Steve Bannon. It’s striking how a government can kill a voice by jailing a journalist or media person, not unlike the death of a close relative that yesterday you sat with in the morning, had coffee with, and spoke. It reminds me of a person I listened to every day that was also silenced, but not by Merrick Garland and Biden/Harris but by death, Lou Dobbs. It’s ironic that Lou was once silenced by Fox as well. We know this tyrannical authoritarianism is nothing new, which connects very well with your speech Dr. Malone of psychological warfare coming from our government. Certainly jailing Steve Bannon is a crushing demonstration by this administration to silence political opposition, and of coarse right at a most critical election. When I saw the title of your post it crossed my mind that Steve may have had a personal legal victory and was getting out of Garlands Gulag early, wouldn’t that have been a boost to President Trump! Safe travels to DC, maybe some day we will meet. I sometimes see myself shaking you hand and saying I’m James Goodrich.

Thanks for your comment, especially Lou Dobbs, who I loved. FYI, I was just banned from RawStory .. and my truth gets me banned a lot. If you want the "inside" on FOX, the UNI-PARTY station, watch the Tucker Carlson and Glenn Beck conversation .. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2O-kg2vCEo

Thanks DD for thinking of me. I’ve been playing catch up at work, trying to keep up with the rising prices of everything. Sometimes I get frustrated when I put what I think is a good thoughtful post and everyone around me gets liked except for my post. Not sure if it’s me over analyzing things but it’s constant. Yesterday I deleted my post for this very reason. I guess I shouldn’t take anything personally but I put a lot of personal thought and feeling into what I write usually, so sometimes it feels very personal at least to me. I do really enjoy all of the people here even the few I have strong disagreements with, honestly!!

Don't get discouraged. Sometimes I read through quickly and just don't have time to click "like" to the one I DO like.

Thank you Jennifer, I really appreciate you as well. I don’t get a lot of quiet time like now when I get to talk with some of you, but it is very nice and relaxing, I enjoy this as much as almost anything.

James, this is a forum for you and for me, nobody is muzzled as long as the discourse is polite and respectful, the main pillars of culture and civility, diversity in SPIRIT. An exchange of opinions should always be inspiring and stimulating,

James, you are a treasure. I love your posts. Some, like myself, are unable to like others' posts. That was not always the case. It started about 6-months ago. It apparently has something to do with the push to upgrade something. Someone was kind enough to explain it to me in another comment, but I do not remember exactly what it is. When I use another laptop, (a mac), I do not have that problem.

Thank you Debra and so are you!!! It’s funny how the mind works, I’ve always been a competitive person, even when I drive. I consider ideas competitive as well, I guess that’s what drives me to write something interesting, something that connects. There are much, much smarter more eloquent people than me here on this sub stack, that’s for sure, but I think all of our different backgrounds, up bringings, and professions are what make this platform so great. I remember my comment on the veterans walking through Boston’s Logan Airport and the illegals all got up and gave them the finger, which pissed me off, but I said they should all be sent back to their sh-t hole countries, well that stirred up quite a response, which made me think twice about what I said. If I write that post again I may have worded it a little differently, so you learn, and isn’t that the wonderful thing about this forum. This is what intrigues me so much about being here. I learn from you and you see the perspective of a struggling man, human being, like myself.

PB, I "like" your attitude...

A get together PB would be great. I would love to meet up with all of you. I remember a while back Dr. Malone came to Boston and I regret not going there to see him thinking I would get another opportunity which hasn’t happened since. Time goes by so fast. Your description of being the first to post and being somewhat overlooked is exactly how I felt, because I do put a lot of time into my posts. A while back I was on a sub stack that I found interesting, a different perspective than mine but one that made me think. I would question the author about how he could ever pull off what he thought was the right direction for America. Often I was his only commenter. He told me to put a fork in it, which again, I took the time out of my day to read his post, which that day was a chapter of his book, I was the only commenter, and that’s what he said to me.i ended up deleting a bunch of comments and unsubscribed to him. He sent me a email saying I didn’t have to respond but asked why I deleted my post and unsubscribed. You see as much as I learn from being here I think he learned something as well. At this point my subscription with him still goes on, I see people question how he could ever implement his ideas, but I don’t see a rude arrogant response to a paid subscriber again like the response he gave to me. Even though this is a computer screen and typed words there are people behind the posts and those words. As much as I’d like to say I don’t care I do, even when my words upset some people. It’s sometimes eye opening when you realize not everyone has the same feelings or ideas as you. It can be like soldiers on a mission looking at the other saying I’m going to feel bad when he gets killed, not thinking it may be himself that is killed. Not sure if that’s such a great analogy, but I like it, anyways…..
