We need a penal code NOT written by lawyers. It has become so ensnarled in legalese that, as is often said, a DA can induce a grand jury indict a cheese sandwich.

In 1985, Sol Wachtler, then the chief justice of New York's Supreme Court said, “Any good prosecutor can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich.”

This trial going on in NYC another example. It seems to me prosecutors today are so incompetent, or the laws regarding homicide have become so obtuse, that they have to file a book load of charges to convict. Particularly when they think he is innocent and if charged only for a single crime he would be found not guilty. I seriously doubt this would have ever been tried it the victim was white or the marine was black. It stinks

All theater. Steer clear of ever being plucked as a casted character.

And signing a contract to play a role that's all for show. (make example of)

Your role becomes a game you know nothing about how to play!
