History is an excellent teacher....our first step... take back the education system and ensure that it educates rather than indoctrinates. Reedify the institution of marriage and family and leave parenting to parents.
Some may say extolling the virtues of the Constitution, Bill of Rights and the Founders is propaganda. They're wrong. There is no deception involved. Our founding documents along with the values contained therein are not hidden. They are the foundations of this republic and we must require adherence to them if we are to keep it. There is a difference between requiring adherence in exchange for citizenship and requiring adherence or being executed--the latter being the result of every socialist-Marxist-communist progression that has ever occurred throughout history.
I believe the other cultural practice that become exponentially magnified and in vogue is to lionize any person for whom one votes and is elected to office. It's bad enough that most such elected representatives drink their own bathwater; must we join them in the libation? Those persons running for office are, in the end, just people like the rest of us. They have made a decision to run and to make the sacrifices associated with attaining office. Their sacrifices are made very public while the rest of us must make other sacrifices attendant with/to our life's work choices without such fanfare and for the most part in obscurity. Nevertheless they are no less important to those who rely on us.
