You are one of the people who did the right thing even though it was not to your benefit. There are a lot like you but not nearly enough. You have a brain and a conscience. I haven’t had to do that since I am retired but I would have. I quit jobs before for much lesser reasons. I have also been fired because I spoke out against management. It all turned out well at the end. You will be fine.

Well, I had the luxury of quitting because my husband has a successful business. I can't imagine how I could continue to do my job feeling like I do about healthcare now. I told her the reason why I resigned, but I don't think she wants to know any details - they might just make her think twice about the "work" she does. We must have the courage of our convictions, right? I truly believe because of all this, there is a place/job for me where I can make a difference and find purpose.
