The seventies, if you can believe it, were 50 years ago and with the CIA they certainly have honed their skills over those years. As we have witnessed our governments ability to take control of pharmaceuticals especially in the COVID crisis. No ivermectin for you! The way the government demonized it!

Think about the use of oxycodone. The government allowed this synthetic heroine to be spread coast to coast throughout the public creating addicts who inevitably would have their prescription end. This resulted in thousands of addicted people going to the street to get their fix and heroine is what replaced the oxycodone. My brother got wrapped up in this after falling off a wall at the Gardner prison, as a prison guard. They put him on oxycodone. After a long horrible bought with heroine and methadone addiction he died at 48.

I remember as a kid pot, hash, mescaline, acid etc. pouring into my neighborhood. I was talking about this the other day to a friend. I honestly don’t think this was an uncontrolled coincidence. This stuff was pushed through the suburbs of Boston, there are no coincidences. The government knew exactly what was happening if they weren’t a part of it they definitely allowed it. J.Goodrich

A bit older and and different slant. Back in the day word was the mob kept the drug trade limited to black neighborhoods (ala The Godfather). When school integration was put on steriods and experienced black pushers introduced to middle class white customers their trade took off like a rocket. Heard this opined by an L.A. gang cop back in the 80s. Do know there was no problem with drugs in the schools in Okla. City in the 60s

There is a difference in the addictive qualities of THC, acid, mescaline and opioids. The first three are not addictive physically, more mentally and emotionally. The heroin and other opioids (even cigarettes) are highly addictive physically. There is an old documentary called "Hofmann's Potion" that is interesting, James.

I agree with you DD. Pot certainly could be used as a sedative for a society. And I think like any drug if you allow it to become normal in your life it will. The governments I’m sure use these serious addictive drugs like heroine to harm people and societies in very negative ways. It’s unthinkable to me that a president, this last administration, wouldn’t do all he could to stop fentanyl from destroying the young.

There are other uses for cannabis that can be therapeutic. Pres. Trump indicated in an interview about a "grouping" (I can't remember the exact wording) that are running the show. This is such a convoluted situation that Biden and so many others are just a pawn in the game. These are huge and deathly "games" that are being played that another assassination attempt on a few wouldn't surprise me at all.

I’ve used CBD on my knees and it definitely helped with pain. I’ve also used it on my wife’s feet and she loves it. I’m a believer!!

I'm sure there are other good companies for CBD, but check out "Joy Organics" They make a salve that is organic, not all of their stuff is, some of the liquid CBD is. Good to be organic when it is absorbed into the skin.

Hard to be blase re LSD when you worked in a bldg. where they treated kids who never came home from their last trip, some occasionally ending that trip via a window on the 7th floor.

I used LSD every weekend for over 2 years, 1500 micrograms (10 tabs) as a spiritual practice. I wouldn't recommend that dosage as an unsupervised experience. It takes a strong psyche and a bit of grace to have the outcome be enlightening...

10 tabs??? Holy excrement!

Cannot consider being splattered over a sidewalk as being in any way enlightened. To each their own I guess.

I didn't say that and you know it!
