What a great lineup today Dr. Malone! I love them all. And, yes, can we just have some common sense voting laws? No early voting, no corrupt machines, no absentee ballots, show your ID, election day a holiday so all can vote in person! Why won't either side come to the table on this? Hmmmmm......

Florida would be the example to start with. We know how to do elections.

Give me the counted in person vote registration (i.e. sign ins), the mail in ballot registrations (i.e. signatures), the current counts of republican and democrat votes, the state voter rolls, and 1 hour, and I'll produce you a list of all registered voters who have not cast a ballot. If I were nefarious, I'd take that list and go "vote" for all of those people in the way I wanted the election to conclude. It's not rocket science to take my list I just created to the local covert print shop and create dated mail in ballots that can be dropped, in the case of Arizona I believe up to three days after the election deadline, as long as the "postmark"" (cough cough) is dated the day of the election or earlier. Just sayin'....massive fraud ain't rocket science in such a system...

Since so much of it is already entered as electronic info somewhere, that must mean you're taking a VERY long coffee break.

Because it doesn’t suit their purpose

Mechanical voting machines? Results before midnight, ALWAYS. (Just sayin')

I miss my chads

Me too. Isn't it odd how the only counties that can't get their counts finished on election day are predominantly democrat? Every. Single. Time.

Here is Turdistan, we have paper ballots,, we must show ID. our drivers license and Health Card both have our photo, name and address on it. We also have one day early voting, same is required, no mail in. Although our population is 39,000,000, by 11pm we know the results. Do we now realise that dirty deeds happened behind the scenes, yes, since Castro jr. was re-elected, although Erin O'Toole had a majority vote, believe me he was not Mr. sunshine with the greatest personality at all, but he was the one that should be our PM. I will tell you why both sides in the USA won't come together, both evil, corrupt and zajebani!! That translates into f''''ed.

As always Dr. Malone your funnies are what keep me smiling, especially these last few weeks where all hell broke loose in our household. Thank the Lord, things are better and on the mend. I look forward to your book, actually can't wait. Blesssings Dr. Malone, Jill and your Family!

Any of the 67 supervisors of elections in Florida could teach these incompetents in Arizona and Nevada how it's done. Florida is able to release preliminary vote totals 15 minutes after the polls close, and our state is in 2 time zones.

I have participated as a volunteer in the vote counting process and I came away impressed. We do it in my county with competence and professionalism.

Florida had issues with its voting procedures and each election cycle has made changes to improve the process making it safer, faster and trustworthy.

The last changes were made after 2018, a race nearly upended by 2 supervisors of election in Palm Beach County and Broward County. The Palm Beach supervisor could not manage to audit the votes in her county in 2-4 days and the Broward County supervisor had this habit of "finding" uncounted votes days after the elections in closets, under tables, in car trunks, etc. In the 2018 election, 80,000 ballots were "found" days after the election. When those votes were counted, lo and behold, the highly competent Republican candidate for Agriculture Secretary lost his race to Democrat Nikki Fried by 5,000 votes. DeSantis and Rick Scott both saw their margins shrink vastly but were able to hold on by the slimmest of margins. After DeSantis was sworn in he did what Rick Scott should have done during his 2 terms as governor, he fired the Palm Beach lady and forced the Broward lady into retirement. Both those counties can manage an election now, and report their results along with the other 65 counties in the state.

I would make a suggestion to Kari Lake after she wins. She should get a copy of Florida's current election laws. She should bring in a few of our supervisors of election. I recommend my own county's superbly competent Chris Chambless to teach her counties how to run an election. She should fire the current crop of complete incompetents we have seen on TV in the last couple of days.

Amen! We need Florida's (or, possibly Oklahoma's?) methods in each and every state.

Expand full comment

Gotta be careful wishing for anything from Okla. They seem rather unpredictable because even when they elect conservatives they have to govern with a state constitution written essentially by Alfalfa Bill Murray, a devotee of the uber progressive William Jennings Bryan. It is one of the most socialist documents in US governance.

I'm pretty sure Lake will do exactly that, which is why they need to steal it so badly.

Among the poll workers, observers, and observers of the observers in my little 1100 people town here in North Maine, there were 15 or so people involved in the election.

I remember as a boy accompanying my parents some 60 odd years ago that there were only three.

Back then we had the results from the hand counted paper ballots one hour after the polls closed.

As I watched my ballot being consumed by the tabulator, I felt a sense of extreme disgust for just how far this facade of "most secure vote in history" has gone, and a sense of helplessness knowing that the second that ballot was turned into bits and bytes, it could be sent anywhere in the world and have anything imaginable done to it.

Amen to all of these!! The voting in some of these states should be an embarrassment but if they cleaned up then they cannot cheat. 2000 Mules was an eye opener. I am so glad to live in Florida the past 36 of my 68 years, but we have to stay diligent . The Gillam mess was too close for comfort! Thank you Dr Malone!!

I generally avoid pay-per-view videos, but an hourlong one-on-one "conversation" between Biden and Fetterman? Must-see TV!

Two beautifully crafted quotes from RFK and TC. Let’s make it a NYT number one bestseller. Now that would be ironic....Alanis Morissette.

As Mark Levin's books hit number 1, he seems to regard it as retribution. Small pleasures.

Hope this book will do well on that score. I expect the NYT isn't all that pleased to have to acknowledge success among those it has disparaged.

I enjoy all the funnies, but I teared up when I read the back cover quotes because I realized how right they were. God Bless you and Jill for your integrity, truth (helping lay people understand the underlying science and nefarious politics), and most of all for your Humanity. Have a wonderful weekend, and Thank You.

"Voting" is a mess, but it's not really the problem because it doesn't really matter. The real rigging happens long before November. The "two" parties carefully insure that no sane human can receive the media and money needed to succeed. Occasionally they make a mistake, or they don't work quite hard enough, and we get sane humans like FDR or DeSantis.

And yet even france managed to cheat by delivering ballots to conservatives that spoiled when opened. Small almost unnoticeable tear at the bottom of the ballot.

Interesting. Do you have a source for this? I was wondering what other countries avoid electronic vote tabulation.

It never ceases to amaze me how difficult it is for the USA to do something so simple. I did the vote counting job once. It took 20 minutes and we used pencils and paper. Even the stations that were needlessly struggling with this simple task took less than an hour. You would really have to work hard to make this task stretch out for days or even weeks.

Who is actually dumb enough to think that this is to ensure integrity instead of cheating? I want to meet these people because I have some things I'd like to sell them!
