How can politicians think that it’s fair and a good political strategy to have a young girl that’s spent her whole life training and striving to eventually become number 1 as a swimmer, (so that she can receive a college scholarship at a great college)and then be taken away from her because politicians want to be woke and politically correct? I deeply hope that the politicians child face political discrimination as they have bestowed onto these real, hard working, dedicated, female athletes. It truly is an atrocity against woman.
The bathroom memes hit home but not funny for me. Disturbing and potential for harm. I recently experienced walking in a bookstore bathroom with a huge hulking guy with lipstick and long hair washing his hands. Was he trans, was he a pervert, was he mentally ill? Whatever his deal was, my spidey senses were on high alert because he was staring at me with a menacing, hostile expression reflecting in the mirror. We were alone so I left. Waited outside but finally left because he was taking so long. I live in an extremely liberal town where if I express my concern to the business, I will most likely be dismissed as some wack transphobe. I cringe when I think of teen girls running into this type of scenario. How do they judge their safety? He was huge and making it clear he didn’t want me in there. Maybe he was just an angry person with no intent to harm but are we supposed to ignore signals that we women have been taught over the years? Confusing upside down world.
This happened to me about 2 yrs ago at a gym. As he strutted around the ladies room, I waited for him to leave. Pure arrogance, he glared: as if to dare me to speak.
A woman of 2 college age sons, I was certain, her merely wanted to shock. It’s simply not safe to guess. Where are ALL the career bra burning 🔥 females or feminists who
marked for peace in the 60’s, but now silent as the woman’s identity is re-appropriated by some dude. AND we let him. We OWN being woman. Why so silent?

It's very interesting timing with Substack creating their clone of Twitter shortly after that release, no? I have not seen Elon call it out, but his moves against Substack make sense in this light. It would also reflect very poorly on Substack.
Notes was in development long before that, and the beta version was unrolled to Bestsellers over a month ago (myself included), so Substack has in no way committed any unethical acts and has merely been working to improve its product and offer more options for its creators.
Even if it were a Twitter clone (which I disagree with, and I much prefer it to Twitter), Substack has every right to develop its own social media platform. We have anti-monopoly laws for a reason, and plenty of social media platforms cohabitate without any issues. Pretty much everyone uses multiple outlets, and I think people would have done so in this case had Elon not Streisand-effected Notes into stardom by his censorious ploys.
Elon has exposed that his supposed defense of free speech is merely a facade, and it didn’t take long for him to sacrifice it on the altar of profit—ironically causing Twitter infinitely more damage than if he’d just let Notes roll out quietly.
All true, particularly that theme of gender dysphoria being touched by insanity and yet both Canada and the USA have elected leaders that endorse the practice. They are not advocates for nothing and it is not because they are appealing to a large voting bloke.
Is it their goal is to spread the insanity far and wide? Again, a compliant nation is a conquered nation.

Regardless if they borrowed from the actual source code, Substack Notes looks like a clone of Twitter. Elon's reaction seems reasonable to me.
