It turned out the truth was, the family of the deceased wanted a private funeral, and a bunch of Arab thugs stole his coffin and remains to turn it into a political demonstration. The Israelis were trying to carry out the family's wishes, but the media reported it as them trying to disrupt the funeral of a martyr.
There's no denying, Hamas brutally murdered a bunch of unarmed civilians on Oct 7. Do you want me to recite the reports of families burned alive in their homes, babies beheaded, women raped and then their twisted and disfigured bodies paraded through the streets to cries of Allahu Akbar? Palestinian civilians joined in the carnage. They had the poor judgement to record it on their own phones and show it to the world. You're down with that, aren't you Hubris?

I'm skeptical about whatever appears in the news, no matter the source. What bothers me is, at least some of what the various Palestine-supporting organizations claim is lies, and the media is quick to repeat their lies, as they did w/ the Israeli-missile-attack-on-the-hospital-that-wasn't. As a minimum, if it's true at all it's grossly exaggerated.

One last comment- a lot of the instability is worsened by the ham-handed way US diplomats react. They spread resources (money and weapons) around to all of the participants in the conflict. The only ones who benefit are the arms makers.
