Robert and Jill - hope you are getting some much needed rest. Robert - hope the gout symptoms are easing (I’ve watched my husband suffer with this as well - feel awful for him).

Still feeling inspiration from the CHD conference in Knoxville. I pray you both are too. Thanks for the funnies (they start my day off with a smile) and God bless 😘❤️🙏

He takes cherry pills every day. Seems to keep it mostly at bay.

Gout remedies galore. Had one doc prescribe Alka Seltzer Gold (no aspirin) to lower blood Ph. and increase solubility of uric acid. Another told me that could blow out your kidneys. Am sticking with allopurinol.

Colchicine works great for my husband.

Also quite cardioprotective according to latest meta-analyses.

It doesn't prevent kidney stones which allopurinol will

But look at what allopurinol interferes with in the biochemistry chain. I am not sure that is a good thing for chronic treatment. But it certainly is amazing in acute, I saw someone get fast relief once. I just want to highlight the protective and anti-inflammatory, cardioprotective, and safety profile in the literature for chronic users of colchicine, particularly low dose and ultra low dose.

I take a colchicine as soon as I experience gout discomfort and it’s a fast relief and early treatment that has worked for me.

I will have that on hand for the next flare. Thanks Jonathan!

Once was a T A for a cell biology class and we treated cells with colchicine to freeze them in mitosis and was so convincing never wanted to take the stuff. Another reason I take allopurine is my my uric acid levels have been quirky and led to 2 kidney stones.

I think I remember something like that too.

I love “Lab Leak Lies”! Thank you as always for finding and sharing all these gems.

Lots of great ones today! My favorite was the dog with the shredded wallpaper.

The "conspiracy theory" video recalls Mark Crispin Miller's definition: a conspiracy theory is something if true, you couldn't handle it. Perfect.

Looking forward to yr return to Twitter!!

Regardless of what transpires in that direction (and mindful of Doctor's lawsuit) hope Dr M willl be staying on GETTR. They've treated us very well and seem pretty vibrant. Personally would not feel positive about having to join Twitter (though unquestionably would if that proves my only option).

I’m not on getter (I can only handle do much) but I agree with the sentiment. I hope people stay on substack, in a way it was a blessing for el gato and everyone. They were able to write in greater detail. I think the 2 work well together.

Dr. Malone! Thanks for throwing in some “Christmas Cheer” (“Elf”)!!! This country is in deep trouble. America became great by pursuing excellence. We now pursue a very destructive narrative. God help us.

Wet markets I love a good Pangolin

Wuhan wet market and critical thinking

Feb 26

The NY Times is reporting two conclusive studies indicate the virus originated at the wet market in Wuhan not the lab. The attempt is to deflate the lab leak theory. I assume those that have something to hide are now trying to spin the new less damaging narrative, that includes the Times.

I am not qualified to discuss the science of lab leak / wet market.

I am absolutely qualified to discuss common sense.

population

1 Shanghai#~ — 28,242,992

2 Beijing⍟# — 21,167,303

3 Chongqing# — 16,687,641

4 Tianjin#~ — 13,929,152

5 Guangzhou- 13,839,587

6 Shenzhen- 12,740,171

7 Chengdu -9,412,873

8 Nanjing- 9,320,689

9 Wuhan- 8,546,775

10 Xi'an- 8,438,050

According to sources available online the only lab capable of handling ‘The Virus” in China was at Wuhan. I don't know if that's true of course. Based on Chinas human rights record I suspect the military has hidden labs but I can’t confirm that of course.

Now the common sense:

Within China there are 50 cities or more that have a population of 1,000,000 +

Live food is traditional form of shopping/consumption in China but does vary with region I’m sure.

Any city with a population of 1,000,000 + would have several if not ten’s / possibly 100’s of live food markets to serve the population.

The virus surfaces in a city that has a live food market and the only level 4 lab. Hmmmmmmmmmmm?

It didn't surface in any of the thousands of live food markets through out China in cities that don’t have level 4 labs. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

As we say in Canada “im from Missoura, show me”

OMG 😲, just in time for Halloween 🎃. The truly scary media graphics, the truly scarier COVID-conspiracy video, and the brilliantly scary Monster Mash video. Don’t miss any of it!

The Friday Funnies sure do skewer the mainstream narratives. And yet people still believe these clowns 🤡 🤡

Also don’t miss “The Real Anthony Fauci” (TRAF) movie: https://www.therealanthonyfaucimovie.com/viewing/. You’ll see many clips of our esteemed Dr. Malone in TRAF movie.

Enjoyable as always! Thank goodness for some “comic” relief!

In reference to the meme that has the quotes from the media and Mr. “I am the Science”, those people also stated that one would not transmit it. Would love to see those words highlighted. As “they” said they never stated that pertinent tidbit…

It's always startling to shine a light on the torrent of propaganda and the way a unified untrue message can be pushed out on all channels by all sorts of paid liars. Call something a "conspiracy theory" over and over like a catechism until people simply repeat it to each other and in their sleep. As the FB cartoon shows, ultimately, this is self-defeating for the media companies pushing the lies. Of course, they can always convince a huge percentage of the public, maybe the majority, maybe not.
