I wanted to share an analogy between pick up trucks and guns.

Does a bullet or a rifle care who or what it shoots? Does the shape of a gun, which has a trigger, firing pin, chamber and barrel care who or what it shoots?Does it make a difference what color or what style a gun is if a bullet shot from it blows a hole in you?

I saw some pictures of the pick up truck used to mow down countless people, killing 14 and injuring dozens in New Orleans. I noticed that it was a “white Ford pick up truck” that killed the people. By gun banners logic, you know, our braindead liberal politicians, shouldn’t we conclude that all white Ford pick up trucks be outlawed, (??) because it was a white Ford pick up truck that killed the 14 and injured dozens. If white Ford pickup trucks had been outlawed no one in that crowd in New Orleans would ever have been killed on New Years morning; Right? We all would be much safer. How many more Mr. Speaker, have to be killed by white Ford pick up trucks before this legislature takes action?

You see it’s not the person behind the steering wheel, or how the fbi time after time miss the obvious posts put on social media, it’s how restricting the vehicle that killed by its make, model or color that makes us so much safer. Is this not the brilliance of the left’s policy placing restrictions on our 2nd amendment based on the color and the style of a gun, Brilliant?

A few years back I heard a female Democrat House of Representative member stand on the house floor to introduce her bill that would stop allowing the manufacturing of the AR-15 magazines. She said with this bill once the magazines are emptied the gun will become unusable. Do you see the absolute ignorance of the people that lord over us! These morons that make laws restricting our God given rights have no idea what they speak of, but yet we allow them to create laws when they have no f’n clue what they are restricting. AR-15 magazines, as I’m sure most of you know, can be refilled with bullets, over and over again. In principle this is like giving a community organizer the power to rewrite and take control of our entire healthcare system and expect success, (how’s that been working for us).

When will we learn that “Those that are willing to give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety (by idiots) deserve neither liberty nor safety”. (Ben Franklin 1755).

I seem to remember G.W. Bush signing into law the Patriot Act giving the FBI unconstitutional powers to spy on citizens without warrants. This they promised would be the magic “bullet” that would stop terrorism and keep us safe here at home. Time after time none of these attacks are stopped, but nearly 1500 citizens faced charges and almost 500 still rot in jail for legally protesting in DC. J.Goodrich

You are 100% correct and your statement should be posted every time an ignorant politician opens their mouth about "gun control", instead of addressing the problem of criminals who see no penalties for their actions.

Same argument Bernie Sanders made against suing gun companies years ago. His point was if a person can sue a gun company because guns kill then wouldn't thar open up the arena to sue thr mfg. Company of anything used to kill. He was right.

I do agree with Bernie, which maybe the only issue I agree with him. But I guess my point is banning a gun for the reason of its looks. Why does it matter what the weapon looks like? They all fire bullets that can kill so this is what I’m trying to point out. I realize it a slow roll to ban one at a time, like this movement towards communism, slow and steady.

I think it was Charlottesville where someone used a rental vehicle to kill a woman. The car rental company I was using was advocating against guns because they can be misused. I wrote to the rental company about the terrible danger of rental vehicles and suggested that to be consistent they should advocate for making them illegal. Never heard back.

Also note - it was an ELECTRIC F-150. Because it is silent. So the crowd cannot hear the murderer gun the engine to drive at them. Outlaw electric white Ford trucks!

Some heard the isis flag flying on the truckbed, and the screams of innocent people being mashed.

Others heard "Allah Akbar" as he crushed skulls and bodies below. This was an obvious white supremacist attack, cause Joe Biden said 50 year old white guys are the only real threat to 'merica

You seem perceptive. Guns are fungible. Just like money. Everyone should own both of them. Please get training folks. On both of these topics.

It always seems the people who are afraid of guns (liberals) are the ones who don't want anyone to own one.

The white Ford pick up was an EV; I'm not opposed to banning all EVs :)

I’m not opposed either. It’s the fact they pick on AR-15’s because of its look. If you get shot with an AR-15, a 30/30, hell a 22 in the right spot your dead. He could have drove a Prius through that crowd at 40 miles an hour and killed 14. My point was AR-15, 30/30, 22, shot gun, all can kill you they go after the AR because of what it looks like, like a white ford pickup is different than a suburban or a Volkswagen Atlas, they all can kill people, and that was my point. I’m sure that electric truck weighed 10000 pounds. They are beasts!!! Raw power.

Agree James. I am an avid gun owner, and any of them are deadly. Heck, I also own antique swords, a few WWII rifles and a crossbow; any of them will kill too.

Yes, the battery packs weigh thousands of pounds. That’s a lot of momentum for energy transfer to unfortunate bodies in the way.

These attacks on citizens are allowed, or promoted intentionally, whether with a vehicle, or a firearm.

Trumps attempted attacker, and these two most recent events (Tesla dumpster and new orleans Ford) all have military connections, and possible MKultra backgrounds.

They all are intended to sway public opinion, create discord, and ultimately widen the ever increasing parameters intp, and towards overall control of the populace, plebes, citizens of each country. This propagandist effort is through deceptive "Hegelian Dialec" type of problem, reaction, solution scenarios.

The 2nd ammendment was initiated to thwart efforts to enslave the people in which their Constitutional rights, being whittled down, could defend.

Keep whittling away, and maybe one day, long after I'm dead, you can have your Tyrranical attempts succeed.

👍. Good luck, till then

The report that Trump has asked the CIA to deals with the terrorists, following the latest Louisiana - Nevada doings. The CIA yet. They'll surely consider him beholden.

Don’t worry, give them time - they want to ban trucks too. Has anyone noticed that Costco no longer sells Solo plastic knives? They dropped those when the knife attack happened in the UK.

Boycott Costco. Costco supports DEI policies.
