Happy Friday. I must say Dr. Malone, you never disappoint. I always look forward to your Friday Funnies (of course all of your articles as well). In these times we all need a bit of a chuckle. God Bless you all and thank you.
Regarding the tampon packaging: I've been a graphic designer for over forty years. During a student critique I said I admired the use of colors and font on a student's packaging for tampons. I then mentioned, though it was aesthetically well done, it didn't seem all that "feminine" and I wondered how it would appeal to women – its target market. I was told by the student that "men have periods, too."
That was day decided to retire. I'm too old for this shit.
My friend had a similar experience teaching high school BOCES students the difference between male/female pelvis and birthing babies, and they thought men could actually give birth 🤦♀️
I don’t know how you do it and I don’t know how to adequately express my gratitude and appreciation for the effort you have made to help me feel better about what I consider the dire threat we face from a world gone crazy. You have been a priceless influence for good and I pray for your happiness and future success because you deserve much more for the sacrifice you’ve made for others. You are a rock and have become a force for truth the world desperately needs right now. Thanks for making me laugh when I really want to cry.
The major problem from a writer standpoint is that YouTube videos play inside the article, whereas Rumble doesn't embed. Hopefully they get this fixed quickly!
Attitude indeed. I purchased the personal memoirs of Ulysses Simpson Grant from a used bookstore and found out it was only part 2. But I'm a me generation person and do not need to know the boring backstory of part 1 anyway. Just give me the climax, and make it quick.
Did you read "Grant" by Chernow? We don't often use audio books but at 1100 pages or 48 hours - it was well worth the audio version! Great audible book - but got long after his presidency. The first 35 hours were excellent. Highly recommend this version of history!
I recommend "Letters from my Father" a roughly chronological compilation of letters published by Robert E Lee Jr. after his father's death. https://archive.org/details/recollectionslet00lee/page/32/mode/2up?view=theater It's a window into the South, the man, the country in the second half of the 19th century. To paraphrase Lloyd Benson in his Vice Presidential debate against Dan Quale: "General Grant was no Robert E. Lee"
No, I have not. Thank you for the recommendation--it's available in Canada too. I recently finished the Amazon Prime series on the Civil War so the Grant photo clicked.
Great chuckles today, thank you!! Also, thrilled your book is coming out now!! Been on pre-order for a while and I'm looking forward to sitting in front of the fire with it over the holidays!!

Awesome! I especially liked the tampons.
Me too! That one is very close to the truth.

Hmmm lotsa folks with pure blood like mine. Discriminated out of work, time on our hands.. new occupation: Antibullshit Memer.
Beards are always in fashion, whatever Century.
For those that never owned a cat and xmas tree with bulbs in the same 30 days of winter....
these are your clue of a holiday delight and disaster of the Feline occupational desire.
LOL 🤣🤣🤣
Hahahahahahahaha!!! Those cats are something this time of year!
JP good today for a change. Biting dry satire is his strong suit.
Faves were the tampon box 😸 and the pronouns for the conspiracy theorist! Have to remember those. Thanks for the morning laughs.
I think the caged Xmas tree would be a good idea for my kids as well, thanks for another round of pick me ups :).
We should always be sharing rumble or odyssey links vs YouTube where possible.

Yeh, it has been a year now. Substack needs to get on this issue.
Oh my I haven't laughed so hard for a week, thank you!!

Pre-ordered the book. I hope it's all cartoons and pictures. Just kidding.
