The capacity for evil seems proportional to the hubris one has about being the missionaries of economic and political deliverance for the world. The unraveling of the Western alliance and the rise of the BRICS alliance does not bode well, but our alliance is so corrupted it must reform or die. I tend to think it will die first rather than engage in creative self-improvement.
