"And it will most certainly be better than the alternative would have been."

It's hard to even imagine how it could be worse.

But expectations have been way too high for way too many. Trump is a strategist, deal-maker, etc. And he's not a principled conservative AT ALL. He has no interest in subsidiarity or the 10th amendment. He's a narcissist who wants a legacy of a savior.

Just be glad that his administration, if it survives, buys us more time to work on contingency plans we might need more time for. And if it helps make it easier for us to convince people uninformed of what's at stake from our massive debt and international manipulation/exploitation and internal corruption, that may buy us even more time.

I agree with this comment as this may be the most realistic option here. Use the next 4 years to work on contingency plans as neither side is coming to save us.

The fact that Trump wants a legacy of a savior is exactly what might help us all succeed. He won’t have that legacy if he doesn’t thwart the Deep State and provide some concrete advances in what’s fundamentally good for our country.

He definitely needs to be tough on the Deep State. But being tough on China may be a bit more tricky. Even if he kicks 'em down a bit during his term, there's blow-back.

China is not a threat other than they spend their money on infrastructure projects and not war so in that way they are kicking our butts. But you have fallen for the propaganda that the establishment has given you. China is a boogey man because they are successful, and our elite shot itself in the foot when we sent our jobs to China.

China a boogyman for a bit more than that.

And yet, we cooperate with this Bogyman China over sensitive, highly scientific lab research and production of medical products that we then medicate our American citizens with. We hire China to produce sensitive electronic components that we then install in our instruments, machines, and tools. Is that how enemies relate?

Pretty well in line with how progressives redefine everything.

Agreed. Trump will have to thread the needle to take the path towards a brighter future. There will lots of problems to overcome along that road. The best everyone can do is support him and understand that correcting the American government is not going to be easy. Some of his appointments may not make sense today but in the future when historians write about these times we will all agree they were for the best at the time. We are not privy to all the backroom decision making and thinking.

I like Elon Musks approach to problem solving. First you analyze the design but at some point you have to test out the rocket and let it crash and burn so you can uncover the rest of the design flaws. NASA took the one shot approach which meant a lot more time in design and slowed up NASA's progress. Elon's was quicker and to my way of thinking, safer.

In the meantime, help Trump if you are in a position to do so as he is the best that America has at this time.

Yeah, I think we can use his results as a comparison to help the yet-ignorant see that you need to understand things about human nature, economics, etc, to know how to vote your actual self-interest. And especially the interest of your posterity.

Agree. "Let the man work" as they say. It takes paced strategy to set up and then close a deal.

A low bar indeed. Thought #44 had taken us to ground level but this cabal that stole the election found the basement. Let us hope we do not find ourselves in a subbasement in the near future

I never cease to be amazed. A friend of mine always told me better minds will prevail before things get too bad. I'm wondering how he defines "too bad." Was WWII "too bad?" Was talking kids into myodcarditis "too bad?" I think if you can participate in the death of kids, you're already at Hitler level insanity. And there were no better minds that stopped them. OR THAT EVEN ATTEMPTED TO!!

There's a group that teaches employee improvement methodology called GRID. They talk about 4 basic social styles. They said there have been studies that show that certain social styles (which I'm sure most RINO's have) will literally die before coming out of their normal non-confrontational style when a split-decision has to be made. Add on the shame of complicity in great evil, and it explains why there are no "better minds" that will save us.

To the extent the Trump will help us, WE had to have the god-given sense to vote for him. WE have to be the better minds.

Bill Gates proof socio/psychopaths do not have to be particularly bright, just unbridled greed coupled with tunnel vision

Yep. There are people with great memories who know precious little about how inductive reasoning works. I've known several people like that over my 65 years. If I had their memories, I could be rich by now. LOL

But I really wonder if some of them are knowingly willing to do insane things because they think they can create a utopia on the other side of the massive global debt mitigation. And maybe de-population is part of their debt mitigation plan. So I'm not sure they all have tunnel vision. Some may just be willing to gamble in a way that is so insane (AND DEPRAVED) to us that we simply can't comply with it.

Well, frankly, he's already proven he can greatly increase our economy - and personal wealth - and knows exactly how to deal with aggressive foreign countries. He and his administration did some truly great things including eliminating more than the 4 to 1 regulation reduction promise - despite the unbelievable pushback and roadblocks on everything he tried to do. He's known how to accomplish this for over 20-25 years (watch his very old Oprah interview where she asks him if he would consider a run for president one day). He's no savior. We already have the One who is. But he is the only one trying to save us from the far left mentally ill and green lie agendas and corruption and totalitarianism in the USG, and for that everyone who is aware should be thankful.

For myself, I normally can't stand a braggarts but I just think Trump is funny. Because I think his narcissism and bragging are largely his purposely created public persona. You don't hear him brag about the individuals he has helped over the years (who tell many stories), or money and time and resources he has donated quietly and without fanfare. Yes, he is a deal-maker - and an actor. All wheel-and-deal people I've ever known were also great actors. Just my opinion 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes. He wants to do good things to be liked.
