I felt as if I was in a bubble watching the whole world go mad. In order to keep my job, I was forced to take a weekly test and submit the results to my manager. While visiting my daughter, who is an anesthesiologist, I noted that my doctor at the VA, came in to see me dressed up like an astronaut and I thought that it was ridiculous. That comment sent her into screaming mode as she parroted comments being blurted out on the news and social media. That was 4 years ago and we haven't spoken since. I pray that accountability will be coming. If not in this life at least in the next.
two weeks ago my daughter, 46, basically called me ignorant in a text message as she reacted in super-TDS mode to my simple message that it will not be so bad after all . . .
We had talked very little in the last years and . . . nothing now.
Maybe what you could do is to share this article with someone close to your daughter in the hopes that that person will share it with your daughter. It is truly a shame that so many medical professionals fell for this scam. I know of many doctors who did.

I am sorry about your relationship with your daughter.
