Just incredibly heart broken by the preemptive pardoning of all these people, the life blood of this country is being sucked out right in front of us and very few seem to be paying attention.

The pardons make me sick too but maybe they will not stick, time will tell. Even, If they are pardoned, they still will have to testify truthfully and no longer be able to use the 5th amendment. To me getting the truth out is still important.

I appreciate your optimism and hope that you are right. However, a civilized society can't exist with blatant abuse of the pardon, "rules for thee and not for me" will result in a total collapse of our country, as history will repeat itself, again and again. This is a new low as these individuals have all demonstrated they have no moral compass or self respect left.

Some do have a moral compass - one whose needle points to "ME."

Hasn't it become the tradition when testifying under oath to state: "I don't remember."?

the pre-emptive pardons are worthless from reading I have done; mostly this comes from Jeff Childers substack: Coffee and Covid. an attorney.
