I tried to also engage him in talking about Christianity, but he didn't take the bait. Maybe next time. I told him that it's interesting to me that people such as Russell Brand have acknowledged that there's a level of evil now that they don't understand, and in Russell's case, he has seemingly placed his faith in Christ.

State Fairs. One of my yearly joys was to watch the Draft Horse contest! Love those gorgeous Gentle Giants! Contributed to a local rescue and have a calender.
I've noted that, for whatever unknown reason, Maryland farmers have been getting attention and press. Power to them. The thing with the 4H contestants, their animals/birds were well cared for and they were justly proud. But I was left reflecting on how these critters were headed directly for slaughter when the show was over.

I know people think of boycotting businesses that push agendas that we don’t go along with, but I think it’s overdue to start creating alternative businesses, labor pools, and especially private financial institutions that only cater to anti vax people. That is not business reality. Their paycheck always comes no matter what. Yet they pretend they can tell the rest of us how to best do things. Over time “they” get people to place a kind of trust in them that should be reserved for the Divine. Those people become like children, constantly looking for the experts to save them and guide them in daily living. Then “they”separate them from the natural world and the source of their food. It is amazing how gullible and helpless folks can be. Like sheep led to slaughter. A reminder that there is an evil involved that is not human in nature. The battle against this evil requires an acknowledgement of and an invitation to the guidance, direction and assistance of our Creator.

Some of my happiest childhood memories are of the Woodstock Fair in Connecticut. I especially loved the livestock barns, where you could meet and greet the animals. Growing up in farm country, I was accustomed to cows, pigs horses, goats etc..and once had a special friend by the name off Johnny Bull, who even as an adult would allow me to sit on him. What a great sadness to substitute a kind, warm, loving cow with a fiberglass Mockup.
