Dr. Malone, I have often commented on posts you have made, and for the first time can directly comment to you! I have a long list of things I thank you for (another time/another message). In this case, thank you for your beautiful story and videos. I have 2 cats, and I, too, am certain they remember. When Zephyr was 2 years old, he became very sick, and had to be coaxed to eat and drink. I used to put a tiny puddle of warm water on the edge of the bathtub, and he would lap it up. Over time, he dropped that and drank water from other places I left it around the house in containers. I moved about 8 years ago to a new home. He is now about 13, and about 6 months I found him sitting on the side of the tub and I knew instantly that he wanted a drink of water. I put some out as I used to, and he lapped it up.
