If only more practicing doctors were not so afraid of losing their jobs then maybe there would have been more push back? Look at the medical infrastructure today. Several years ago things changed and doc’s started being folded into the grip of large organizations, having to abandon their private practices. Our hospital’s now have “hospitalist” who treat you when you are admitted. Most of the PCP doc’s you see now have no privileges once you are admitted to the hospital. Everything was planned years ago and put in place so they would be ready for situations we just came through and any honest medical person will verify this exact strategy implemented by those in charge. If you look deep you will see that the government was/is paying a bunch of money for cases of Covid-19 admitted to hospitals. What else would make so many fight so hard to get you in and vent you when, I think, they know early treatment with their forbidden pill list actually works. I actually know first hand ivermectin worked for me and my wife. We came back for celebrating our 51st wedding anniversary, not a cruise, and both of us wound up with it. Neither of us got really sick and we were over it in a few days with the exception that it took 4 or 5 weeks to get back to normal energy levels. The only other thing is we both had diminished hearing for a while in one ear. Given the correct tools to fight with, you’ll find C-19 can be put in a class with a cold in most cases, just don’t wait until you can’t breathe like doc’s and hospital’s prefer. Young docs ran a battery of tests but NEVER touched the patient. Dad put a stethoscope to the patients chest listened, spoke to him.. and diagnosed. Pneumonia. He was of course correct. He had been taught what it sounds like when you have lungs with fluid. He was shocked the young docs had not done that but instead wrote for very expensive tests that would not help! Over the course of his career he saw more and more of this type of practice. He diagnosed a worm in the lung (from eating contaminated meat in the Carribean) by actually looking at the patient history plus knowing some of tropical type disease not seen in first world. Then stuck a scope in and found the worm much to the doctors amazement. I always thought of him as a Dr. House, and he always said that the patient never tells the truth to the doctors, you have to drag it out of them. Sadly he bought into the vaccine and gene therapy in his old age and with his cardiac profile, he probably shortened his life. Especially considering he got a booster too. Now of course, he knows they don't work. Too late.
Thanks for the anecdotes about your dad. I'm 76. I had an excellent "old school" doctor like him for years. It was an independent practice. He used paper records only. He would take as much time as needed to analyze and treat. Very skeptical about the value of prescribed drugs. I miss him.
Yup. Those were the doctors that cared, understood and didn't think that 'tech' had all the answers. They knew the value of talking to patient, and putting HANDS on the patient. I keep looking for a doc like that. They are so few and far between. But we still have some of them. It is an attitude, an 'art'. Medicine is just that an art. You can't know everything and the biggest thing is the patient's will and focus. I know people that should have died but didn't. Why? It is down to faith prayer and will - to heal and to live. Modern docs will not and do not believe that.

That really is the $Gazillion dollar question, isn't it? The gaming of the system throughout this dark period has been vastly beyond the pale. If only more practicing doctors were not so afraid of losing their jobs then maybe there would have been more push back? Look at the medical infrastructure today. Several years ago things changed and doc’s started being folded into the grip of large organizations, having to abandon their private practices. Our hospital’s now have “hospitalist” who treat you when you are admitted. Most of the PCP doc’s you see now have no privileges once you are admitted to the hospital. Everything was planned years ago and put in place so they would be ready for situations we just came through and any honest medical person will verify this exact strategy implemented by those in charge. If you look deep you will see that the government was/is paying a bunch of money for cases of Covid-19 admitted to hospitals. What else would make so many fight so hard to get you in and vent you when, I think, they know early treatment with their forbidden pill list actually works. I actually know first hand ivermectin worked for me and my wife. We came back for celebrating our 51st wedding anniversary, not a cruise, and both of us wound up with it. Neither of us got really sick and we were over it in a few days with the exception that it took 4 or 5 weeks to get back to normal energy levels. The only other thing is we both had diminished hearing for a while in one ear. Given the correct tools to fight with, you’ll find C-19 can be put in a class with a cold in most cases, just don’t wait until you can’t breathe like doc’s and hospital’s prefer. In my not so humble opinion the Covid pusher’s love money and that’s called being extremely GREEDY, period..!

Typically he was called in when the docs couldn't get traction on something) This story : patient came in .... cough and illness. No explanation for it. Young docs ran a battery of tests but NEVER touched the patient. Dad put a stethoscope to the patients chest listened, spoke to him.. and diagnosed. Pneumonia. He was of course correct. He had been taught what it sounds like when you have lungs with fluid. He was shocked the young docs had not done that but instead wrote for very expensive tests that would not help! Over the course of his career he saw more and more of this type of practice. He diagnosed a worm in the lung (from eating contaminated meat in the Carribean) by actually looking at the patient history plus knowing some of tropical type disease not seen in first world. Then stuck a scope in and found the worm much to the doctors amazement. I always thought of him as a Dr. House, and he always said that the patient never tells the truth to the doctors, you have to drag it out of them. Sadly he bought into the vaccine and gene therapy in his old age and with his cardiac profile, he probably shortened his life. Especially considering he got a booster too. Now of course, he knows they don't work. Too late.
Thanks for the anecdotes about your dad. I'm 76. I had an excellent "old school" doctor like him for years. It was an independent practice. He used paper records only. He would take as much time as needed to analyze and treat. Very skeptical about the value of prescribed drugs. I miss him.
Yup. Those were the doctors that cared, understood and didn't think that 'tech' had all the answers. They knew the value of talking to patient, and putting HANDS on the patient. I keep looking for a doc like that. They are so few and far between. But we still have some of them. It is an attitude, an 'art'. Medicine is just that an art. You can't know everything and the biggest thing is the patient's will and focus. I know people that should have died but didn't. Why? It is down to faith prayer and will - to heal and to live. Modern docs will not and do not believe that.

That really is the $Gazillion dollar question, isn't it? The gaming of the system throughout this dark period has been vastly beyond the pale. This would include recognizing that if the so-called "vax" (which it clearly is not, it's a gene therapy) were to be licensed, it would lose the liability shield conferred by the EUA, but once added to the childhood schedule it has that protection essentially forever. Whatever lies, sleight of hand, and/or other deceitful means were deemed necessary to maximize profits while avoiding literally all liability, one can bet they were used and deployed to the absolute max. Logic and actual lawfully conscientious practices do not matter to this crowd, that much is clear.
