Would journalists actually be able to report on the harms of vaccines if the pharmaceutical companies were no longer permitted to advertise on TV?

1,000% agree! We would see a revolution. All of a sudden everyone would take on big pharma once ads were no longer allowed.

We might even get a thorough investigation on SIDS: https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/how-sids-became-the-perfect-cover

Many thanks for the link Franklin!!

I already passed it on to my network.

I predict RFK will publish a determination by end of 2026.

Exactly, Laura. That was my first thought as I read this article. Take those ads off TV. I donтАЩt watch much TV anymore. But recently visiting friends, their TV was on and it was unfortunately and patheticallyтАФto meтАФlike Comedy Central viewing the ridiculous Pharma commercials.

You mean the networks would have to go back to the days of selling soap again? I see some hard financial times ahead for these folks. It's not only pharma that's gonna' get caught in this vice. Not that I don't agree it's necessary, but throwing this boulder in the pond of sponsor funding is gonna' set off a tidal wave of financial rejiggering in most of the communications industry. It ain't gonna' be pretty.

No one ever said it would beтАж.pretty. Necessary is more descriptive.

Don't think, even for one moment, that I believe the main stream media hasn't earned every bit of ugliness that might get heaped on them if this happens. All I'm saying is this is gonna' be a far bigger and more widespread deal than it sounds like at first glance.

I wouldn't be too surprised if there aren't a few bankruptcies.

When will a bill banning Rx Consumer advertising be created? I was told 30 years ago by a Big Pharma executive, it would take a act of congress to stop the advertising and it would be WELCOMED by the drug manufacturers. It would grossly boost their bottom line overnight! The goals of MAHA commission should be published in all newspapers across the USA. They won't, instead the fear articles supporting the deranged Democratic views against RFK and President Trump prevail. Sad commentary!

I do not like censorship of any kind but they should have to list all of the possible side effects in an honest and forthright manner.

I agree. I ignore most of the ads, but I have liked knowing what the new products are so I can be familiar with side effects etc, before the Dr mentions it. Nuplazid for example was advertised heavily for PD dementia/Lewy Body Dementia. My husband had been a long time on Seroquel, when this came out which worked, but I was hoping for something maybe safer (even tho he didn't have noticeable probs with what he was taking amd he was on it for 12 years). Dr. never even mentioned Nuplazid and when I asked he said "it doesn't work." lol

MrsMc- are you familiar with substack author A Midwestern Doctor?

They write about many alternative treatments for all kinds of conditions.

Just as good and more in-depth perhaps as Dr. Mercola's treatises.....

Don't forget Dr. Thomas Levy's bio-med and bio-chemistry books

Yes I love DrMercola have his books, read website Newsletter practically daily, and buy supplements. I will look at midwesterndoctor and Dr. Thomas Levy books thank you very much!

You're welcome. Dr. Levy is retired; he used to be a board member of the infamous naturopathic Riordan Medical Clinic in Kansas. As a naturopath MD, he's also a bio-chemist and conveys the same in his books to give readers a superior understanding of metabolic and immunologic processes. Dittos for author Dr. Kate Rheaume-Bleue.

I just did a quick online search these are excellent references. I've been recently dx with a low-grade follicular lymphoma. I blame it on 12 years as 24/7 caregiver. Stress, poor sleep, etc. I'm seeing a lot of "Metabolic theory": on cancer and many other conditions, so thank you for helping me narrow it down some.

Yes he used all sorts of alternatives but the traditional carbadopa levo dopa aka sinemet , was the only thing that worked for the PD symptoms of stiffness and shaking. He was on it for almost 29 years. I don't know of any alternative treatments which would help with the major hallucinations which describes PD dementia, and after that he developed other dementias and aphasia in his last few months. He went the distance with Parkinsons well past the 10 years his Dr predicted. He was diagnosed at age 50 and died this past July at age 78. More good days than bad and never lost his sense of humor. Sorry for the long reply and thank you for the referral I appreciate it.

MrsMc- I am deeply sorry for your loss.

My father passed away at age 84 in 2004 of Lewy Body dementia. He didnтАЩt live a year after he was diagnosed. I feel certain he had it for much longer than we realized.

LBD is tough, so scary and the only med we found to help had a warning not to give to elderly. Thank you for telling me.

Many blessings to you and your family.

I would enjoy watching my news channel- without any pharmaceutical ads! I continually mute all big farming ads, & the long, long list of тАЬside effectsтАЭ is mind-numbing!
