Agree. Hormones a big problem because heat tolerant whereas antibiotics are not. Am always concerned when I hear more concern voiced about antibiotics than hormones
MrsMc, I totally agree with you about people taking antibiotics at the first sign of any illness without giving the body a chance to build up its own immunity!!!!
Agree 100% - I look around at the teenagers of today, compared to the ones I knew growing up in the 1970s. They are significantly larger, especially the girls, and I have to assume that all of the growth hormones might be a factor in that change. I have two nieces who are a good six inches taller and well over 100lbs heavier than their mothers were and both suffer from PCOS and other health issues. That did not used to normal for young women in their 30s!
Investigate the growth hormones used in the meats and chicken we eat and the milk that we drink. Basically how we raise all of our foods.

Rambler, IMHO I think 🤔 that the hormones are responsible for young girls developing at a very young age!!
I'm a bit more bias on antibiotics because my husband has had to go under several rounds of antibiotics.
I think that it made him resistant and he became septic.
The doctors had a tough time finding an antibiotic dose to bring it under control.
Since then, I make sure that the food labels include the NO ANTIBIOTICS USED label.
Was referring to antibiotics in food that are heated. It kills them.
but yes, antibiotics as first line of treatment for simple colds etc needs to stop, maybe too as late many have become resistant like Ana indicated.

Rambler, thank 😊 you for the information about them being killed when heated. I didn't know that.
However out of an over abundance of caution, I don't want to take anymore chances.
