There is one that went after Kirsch, on multiple platforms so not a fluke moment. A smart cookie in fact who had insightful viewpoints and great data skills. But I couldn't figure out the motives other than it was supposed to be Steve's job to provide a generous hand up to all writers out there with data to share. Steve does a unique service and a fantastic job doing what he does and he reads his comments and takes feedback. But each and every Substack writer or media podcast creator has to stand on their own laurels for reach and circulation. When a shout out is given it is a gift, and and a generous gesture when it happens.
