I live in Idaho and Mike Simpson is one of my representatives. I just sent him a note encouraging him to withdraw the rider that contains language that would shield pesticides from legal liability.

1) My favorite form of pest control is biological pest control (where you put predatory insects in the crops and have them eat the pests). This has been used for the potato beetle, although it seems to work better as part of an integrative pest management program than a monotherapy.

2) You raise a great point with the rna "pesticide" technologies and I'm wondering if this also dovetails with the mRNA vaccine push for livestock.
