I just had lunch with my sister, showed her the high school ID. She never knew the story of me getting picked up by Parker and was shocked to hear about it. I was actually lucky I was a little older, only 14, but I was the youngest of 4 so I had learned a lot for my age. I mentioned my oldest brother. The oldest kids seem to get the most discipline. With the punishments, restrictions, being grounded, getting the car and having it back. By the time I was going through the system my parents had been Brocken down to the point they said just have the car back some time tomorrow. Im exaggerating but I definitely had learned the ins and outs and had it much easier.
I understand! I was the oldest of four and had the most discipline and responsibility. I worry though today’s children don’t have enough parental guidance because their parents were from the generation that wanted to be “friends” with their children.

So true Barbara and that’s a big part of kids expecting success without working for it.
