This is a difficult moral challenge for inventors who bring such powerful technologies to humanity. I have wrestled with this deeply spiritual and moral self-argument, and have concluded the same as Malone and Einstein have. Their resolve has been to give humanity a chance to do good with their achievements, because it is possible that no one else would make the same discoveries at all, or in time to harvest the well-intended benefits of the inventions.
I agree. Something that could be used for good can often be taken & misused with very bad intentions.

I agree. Dr. Malone never meant to do any harm to anyone. BTW, I don’t believe that President Trump did either. Fauci et al, are evil.
