We are all deeply connected. Substack is one of the best things that has come out of Covid on a mental , physical and spiritual level. Your leadership has never ever gone unnoticed and you are a leader and warrior for the truth. Please speak about the conspiracies or realities of contracts with drug companies, government ect… so this can be put aside and we all move forward to attack this psyops and cabal in a positive direction. Our lives depend on it now and for future generations. On another note… As a physician, I read other stacks and constantly read of “bad “ doctors that give toxic drugs and operate on patients on a dime , “ cut happy “. There is bad and good in everything. There are built in mechanisms in medicine from quality review groups, insurance utilization reviews ect. Many people don’t even realize there are checks and balances. Trust is at an all time low right now . The more explanation the better. Thank you.

The news coming out about the wokeness at first creeping now rushing into med schools does not offer much room for optimism. I have mentioned before of how altruism as a motive for entering med school was pretty well being ushered out by financial incentives brought on by Medicare. Wokeness will only add to the problem

Have been reading and doing occasional comments related to "First Do No Harm." The info in the book is very discouraging. My comments brought me a couple solicitations for contributions furthering antidotes. Great article recently 'When you are sick, do you want Dr Woke or Dr Smart" that ended recommending "Let doctors return to being our top guns, the best of the best." Have been doing what I can to further this direction.

My ref points Texas/Okla. Back in 60s, Okla had one med school, Texas had 3 (maybe 1-2 osteopath). Today Okla has at least 3 and Texas at least 9 med schools and several osteopath schools. The Univ of Okla med school in 60s had 40% of entering freshmen wash out by sr. yr. Today med schools get drawers in a bunch if they lose 2%. They claim entrance quals today stricter. And now they are woke.

The book generalizes. It does lead one to believe that the monies involved impact grad rates. The woke business really puts me off. Hoping a greater degree of sanity will begin to evolve.

Now they are. When Medicare came out it was very generous to the medical field. For example we paid $5 for a visit to our doc, Medicare came out paying $17. However cost of medical care (largely due to Medicare?) has grown exponentially and outgrown what Medicare pays today. Hence the angst.

NIH is not the only one funding grants relative to "medical or scientific" research. Our DoD and DARPA, as well as other agencies fund such grants....arguably for reasons other than benevolent medicines. Technology like the handgun in and of itself is neither good or bad. It can have different purposes and play a role in different agendas. Much more transparency is needed relative to how we fund research and for what purposes.

Also, one of the ways in which the waters have been muddied considerably is the fact that grants are often awarded to scientists who work in academic institutions. And there is the complicating factor that some of those institutions/labs have nationals from other countries working in them. Who keeps tabs on this? What protocols or regulations are in place to monitor activity? Soooo many questions and not enough answers.....and that is before we even get to the good stuff when they will maintain you need top security clearance to have access to certain info. and research. Ahhhh yes, our tax dollars at work.

Do you ever wonder how much of our tax money has gone to Gates or researchers that Gates has in his pocket? And Gates is only one of the fin/tech elite sticking his finger in nearly every sector of our existence and insisting on being "the expert" about what is best for us.....and our government is more than willing to delegate to people like him. But why? Therein lies the rub.

I use to have a friend in my support cancer group. She was a fierce advocate for research to help treat and cure ovarian cancer. She would talk about giving presentations to the DoD.

Great post!!! So many really good points. Let me add some seasoning. Re grants. There once was a division in scientific research called "basic research". This was not goal, i.e., grant driven but a purer search for knowledge. The grant process has killed this and yes science has been largely replaced by technology for this reason. And if those grants not from the fed academic advancement stymied.

Re security. I worked in Texas Med. Center. We had mainland chinese coming out of the woodwork and they wery very poorly supervised if at all. Enjoyed virtually unrestricted run of the place at all hours of the day especially after normal working hours and that included a maj. in the chinese air force who was in the lab I worked in. Yeah no security at all.

Was listening to Catherine Austin Fitts explain some of the history and significance of the banking system and the coming changes. It was helpful and insightful.

I think it is a mistake to look at only one aspect of the pandemic or the great reset....to understand it and the change it will bring into our lives, one must develop an understanding of where we have been led in many sectors before the pandemic (sometimes going back decades) and where they intend to take us in the next few years. Education is one of the big ones. Health sector is also extremely relevant. Changes to our financial system is a must....in terms of understanding the great reset. Energy is important as well....both in terms of "climate change" arguments and also the push to electrify everything.....good for running the tech and machines!!!!!!

Expand full comment

Regarding: "electrify everything"... Some things cannot be changed to accommodate eliminating 'fossil fuels' (which are really not from 'fossils', but that's another discussion). Case in point: air travel. There can be no airliners (or even private jets to Davos) if there's no jet fuel. You're not going to see large, practical electric airplanes.

Ocean freight - same story. How you gonna get all that stuff from China, Japan, Korea, etc.?

By the way, much of that "stuff" is electronic - made with plastics (made from petrochemicals)

I could go on, but you get the point.

I’ll watch.

I’m pretty well versed in much of what is happening. My state was at the mercy of Gates and other tech giants like Apple in the area of education. Following the money and “reform” efforts promoted by the fin/tech elite opened my eyes to their plans (begin at least as early as 2010) to create an education system as a pipeline for the coming gig economy. The use of tech to create a system that was referred to as “mass customized learning” at its heart is about assessing, data collection, tracking and categorizing students based on competencies versus dreams, wishes, interests or personal fulfillment.

Sadly, the agenda with education largely goes unabated. After all, education systems are always looking for funding and therefore roll out the welcome mat for the predatory philanthropist who are in the habit of dressing up their control tactics and systems as the newest and best shiny innovations out there. Trojan horse, in nearly every respect…..they are usurping the role of government and are very much interested in training and modifying behaviors of the next generation. Critical thinking is not what they want for the masses. Compliance and dependence are the trades they are manifesting.

Thank you for the link. Always good to hear and view different vantage points.

We printed and scanned the graphic then converted it to text. This piece describes the feelings of many!

Here is the text for those who wish to share it...

-------

To ALL MY FRIENDS OUT THERE who know what's really going on...

To all my conspiracy realist friends...

Yes, sometimes it's a curse and not always a blessing to be AWAKE.

Awakening is the most liberating, alienating, excruciating, empowering, lonely, confusing, freeing, frightening, expansive journey.

If you find yourself struggling as you try to process all this insanity, you are not alone.

No one talks about the darkness that accompanies awakening, or the GRIEF. Not only grieving the life and illusions you once had, but the realization that almost everything you thought you once knew, is a LIE.

The beliefs you've held, people you've trusted, principles you were taught- ALL LIES.

Shattering illusions is RARELY an enjoyable experience. There is a considerable amount of discomfort that comes with growth and the grieving process doesn't stop there.

With these newfound realizations, you then find yourself grieving all over again. Grieving for our children, knowing all too well the broken world they are inheriting. Grieving the loss of many relationships with people who just don't "get it".

Feeling alone, being ridiculed and shamed, not only by the masses, but for many of you, your very own family and friends too.

Feeling like you no longer have much in common with the people you are surrounded by. Struggling with carrying on bullshit, shallow conversations that lack substance with those who are still fast asleep.

Even feeling disconnected from your entire support system because they can't see what you see. Some even grieve the loss of their ignorance- because "ignorance is bliss" and reality is harsh. Awakening can be a lonely road and you will often find yourself journeying alone.

There is no way to sugar coat it- Awakening to the realities of this world is brutal. It will have you running through the entire gamut of human emotions.

You have to master the art of diving down the darkest of rabbit holes only to come out and still function in daily life, and that's a skill people don't talk about enough.

Some of you are struggling with feeling disconnected from family and friends, it's as though they exist in another world.

Please know you are NOT ALONE, and not only are you not alone, you have an entire tribe standing with you. We may be separated by miles, but we are DEEPLY connected; in purpose and in spirit. ♥

Dear, dear Robert and Jill -- for you are indeed as dear to me as family,

I today updated to a paid subscription just so I can send you this message. It has been almost excruciating at times to not be able to respond to some of your posts, not to mention the guilt of feeling like a freeloader. More than those reasons, though, it's feels urgent to give you a long-distance hug. To connect.

I will likely unsubscribe later because my funds are already tapped out. My income is slightly over the poverty level, and I tithe 15-20% of it to organizations in our tribe who are filing well thought out lawsuits, like CHD, MAFA (Pam Popper), Dr. David Martin, etc.

Today's Sunday Strip ... wow. My mom was here once (she's 96), she looked at my clothesline and asked, "Lynn, why do you bother washing your rags? Why don't you just throw them out?" I answered, "Mom, those aren't rags... those are my clothes!" Because I have a chop-wood-grow-food-waste-nothing lifestyle and rarely leave the property, I dress like I'm homeless most of the time. Comfort. Yes.( Also haven't had a TV for 42 years; no cell phone; no wifi.)

Your message to all your conspiracy realist friends brought tears. Yup, that's what it's like. Thank God for the new tribe we've gathered. Thanks, too, for sharing Appleby and Oliver and JP and Russell Brand.

I deeply appreciate all you both are doing, and I share your content widely. You are unbelievably articulate, well spoken and heartfelt. I have no idea how you generate so much content - none of it drivel.

I love that you two love cats and horses and the land and outdoors. I live alongside cougars, bears, deer, wild turkeys and a myriad of smaller critters that make my life rich, often entertaining... and occasionally troublesome.

You are courageous, inspiring, no doubt inspired, and a great team. And you have heart. Much love and gratitude to you for all you are and do in the world.

Here’s an oldie but goodie😂🤣🤭🤫:

Zika!

THE SET UP:

“ZIKA: 500 MILLION PEOPLE IN THE AMERICAS AT RISK - Dr. Sylvain Aldighieri, the Zika incident manager for the Pan American Health Organization, said Tuesday that half a billion people in the Americas are at risk of being infected by the Zika virus.

Aldighieri and NIAID Director Anthony Fauci briefed reporters at PAHO headquarters in Washington on the status of the Zika response. Both warned that they expect to see an influx in cases in the coming months, Pro's Brianna Ehley reports.

- Vaccine developments: Researchers are preparing a vaccine study to begin in September and should be able to determine if the vaccine is ready to test on groups of people at the beginning of 2017, Fauci said. If so, the vaccine will be tested first in an infected country and might be ready for widescale use in anywhere from one to three years.

Fauci repeated warnings that Congress must approve the full sum requested by the administration if it is to be prepared to respond to Zika

THE PITCH:

PELOSI on Zika-

“Good afternoon, everyone. Thank you very much to our Members, especially, to our very special guests for joining us this afternoon on subject of great concerns to our great country. I am so grateful to the Co-Chairs of the Steering and Policy Committee, Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro and Congresswoman Donna Edwards for bringing us together this afternoon. It is my privilege now to call to order this hearing: ‘The Zika Public Health Crisis: the Urgent Need for the President’s Emergency Funding Request’.

“Every day, we learn more about the accelerating threat that the Zika virus presents to expectant mothers across the country. Every day, we lose valuable time needed to avert what could be a major public health emergency in communities across our country. And yet every day, this Congress refuses to provide the emergency resources needed to protect America’s families from this terrible virus.

“There are already more than 1,000 Americans – including more than 100 pregnant women – with confirmed cases of Zika; but House Republicans do nothing. Last month, Congress voted twice to block emergency resources to protect American communities from Zika. We refuse to stand idle. We will keep demanding action.

“Today, we are very honored to hear from a distinguished board of witnesses who stand on the front lines of the fight against Zika in our country. We are pleased to welcome Mayor Mitch Landrieu, Mayor of the City of New Orleans, Louisiana; Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, some call him a hero – the NIH – and Dr. Anne Schuchat, a Principal Deputy Director, Centers for Disease Control.

“Our guests have a clearer perspective than anyone about how Congress’s dangerous refusal to address the threat of Zika in a timely way could have tragic consequences for America’s families. They will be more fully introduced by our distinguished Co-Chairs. And we all know that we must pass the President’s $1.9 billion emergency supplemental request – which the Congress has been obstructing for months.

“To the Congress we say: Do your job. Stop standing in the way of the emergency action we need to protect America’s families. Do your job. Join us in averting this frightening public health crisis. Do your job. Swiftly and fully-fund the President’s request for emergency funds to address the Zika threat in America.

THE SPIN:

KLAIN ON ZIKA: AMERICA's POLITICAL SYSTEM HAS FAILED - The former White House Ebola czar castigated lawmakers for failing to reach a Zika funding deal in a high-profile op-ed on Sunday.

"It is not a question of whether babies will be born in the United States with Zika-related microcephaly - it is a question of when and how many," Ron Klain wrote in Sunday's Washington Post. "For years to come, these children will be a visible, human reminder of the cost of absurd wrangling in Washington, of preventable suffering, of a failure of our political system to respond

FEAR FACTOR:

WARNING SHOTS FOR LEADERSHIP: "Mosquitoes With Zika Virus Could Hit U.S. in Next Month," Damian Paletta for the W.S.J.: "Mosquitoes carrying the dangerous Zika virus are expected to begin infecting Americans within the U.S. in the next 'month or so,' the government's top infectious disease expert said Sunday, as officials race to prevent a widespread outbreak of the virus that is believed linked to birth defects. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said on ABC that more than 500 Americans already have the Zika virus... all those cases are travel-related... But the landscape will change soon, Dr. Fauci said, as infected mosquitoes enter the U.S. mainland."

"The two primary species of mosquito believed likely to carry Zika in the U.S. are estimated to have a wide reach. Experts believe one will blanket the southern U.S. and reach as far north as San Francisco and New York City. Another species could spread widely along the East Coast and into New England."

PRESSURE'S ON. Both chambers have passed their own Zika bills, but they've got a bunch of differences to reconcile, and the path forward is uncertain.

THE BLAME:

(DNC) Talking Points – House Republicans: #DoYourJob to Address

the Zika Virus

Do Your Job, House Republicans

For 80 days, House Republicans have also refused to act on President Obama’s urgent request for an emergency supplemental to confront the growing threat of the Zika virus. There are more than 1,000 Americans – including more than 100 pregnant women – with confirmed cases of Zika, but House Republicans continue to dawdle in the face of this frightening and lethal threat.

Democrats are sending a clear message to the Republican Congress: do your job to keep the American people safe.

Every day, we learn more and more about the danger Zika represents to expectant mothers. But House Republicans’ only response is reckless obstruction and unconscionable inaction.

· The House GOP has now voted twice to block emergency resources to protect American communities from Zika.

WASHINGTON POST // EDITORIAL BOARD

The Republican-controlled Congress has wasted entirely too much time sitting on President Obama’s request for emergency funding to combat the arrival of the Zika virus to the mainland United States. The National Governors Association, not exactly an alarmist group, declared that “the nation is on the threshold of a public health emergency.” Anthony S. Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, says that Puerto Rico, a U.S. territory where the virus is already on the move, “is on the precipice of a really serious disaster.” Now, it is time to buckle down and approve the president’s request
