Some of these are good finds! I particularly like the ‘electric car food’ train (we need one about the conditions at the cobalt mines that provide the batteries) and the ‘narcissist’ meme (lots of this going around and around). Some of the others are too sad or infuriating to find humor in. Blessings on your country reprieve.
I live about 30 miles south of Graves Mountain Farm & Lodges located in Madison County, Va. they have 1800 acres of gorgeous mountains and meadows. Today was a beautiful day to drive to the Apple Heritage Festival held there. The leaves are nearly at peak and thousands of people were there on those backroads to take in the autumnal beauty of Madison County today. We bought local honey, hot pepper jelly and of course apple butter. My husband is fascinated by hens and roosters. He wanted more artwork than we have walls for displaying, so he asked me which was my favorite. He purchased it and we drove the 45 minutes home in silences as we marveled at the colorful landscape on our drive home.
PS- we did chuckle a bit as we played a game of let’s spot the city folk.
In a small corner of central Kentucky, my Amish community is wrapping up sorghum pressing and cooking with the best sorghum molasses on hot buttered buns you have ever eaten under a cool blue sky while whirls of yellow, red and brown leaves grace these beautiful afternoons. May God bless and guide America to its highest and best destiny.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful day with me and this group.
Drs Robert and Jill make their home at a farm in Madison County. Someday, I’ll try and visit to see that pair of emus!
Oh dear GMoody, the emus are no longer alive, so sorry to say. The Drs. have been brokenhearted by this turn of events.
I’m so sorry to hear this.
Yum, hot pepper jelly and apple butter!
