My dear mother now in heaven used to tell me as a young girl, if you have your health, you have your wealth, all else is what you make of it! I agree Dr, Malone and his lovely wife Jill, make us all smile, as there is not much to smile about, the wars etc. are very depressing, not to say what the evil ones, regardless of party politicians are doing to us. Your mother was a very wise woman. Like so many posts I could have gone totally negative but was reading about ways to feel better and came across the sunrise perspective. Thought it would be better for Sunday.
Spot on James. Thank you again. Our Orthodox Easter is coming up May5th this year, as per Julian Calendar. I love that special day, look forward to it as always, the church is full of people. The little ones all get a little basket with colored Easter eggs, chocolates and other goodies. Watching them happy and excited makes us adults smile, think back to our childhood, the good old days as I say. Cheers all.
Yes some do, also Baka, Nana. My parents from Dalmatia (Dalmacija) Croatia but there were many Serbs Croats and Bosnians there. My husband is from Belgrade Serbia. My parents came in 1955, so new comers as one would say. Sad to say it was once called Jugoslavija (yugoslavia) but then US/NATO entered and destroyed and killed many. Now it is all split, neighbors that once were like family do not know each other, let alone acknowledge that fact. It has been some years back, so getting a little better, I hear. Now UN is starting up again in Kosovo. I truly pray for Peace all over the world. Cheers!
