I read a lot of X. As usual, people WANT to hate Elon. He is trying not to censor but to encourage thoughtful debate. Example: I write a paragraph explaining some idea I have that contradicts the original narrative. A post pops up calling me a F*clung Karen. That comment is a regretted moment because it does nothing (except attempt to insult). I mute those but the algorithm is now deboosting them so I can see legitimately reasonable posts first. As a result several people replied to my post with some fairly thoughtful criticism. There is NO perfect AI algorithm (despite what everyone hopes). There will always be rough bumps in the road. Elons attempt to make for fewer unregretted minutes reading through hundreds of comments (many of which are inscrutable at best) is a lovely effort. I hope it works.
