Recently, Elon Musk announced that his artificial intelligence program GROK, soon to be running on X Premium, will provide a summary to the active legislation on the Congressional docket.

GROK will summarize the basic ideas of the proposed legislation, and make it accessible to the public. Hopefully, this will allow the citizens to understand the "real purpose" of these laws.

The member of Congress, who, has admittedly not read the proposed legislation, may get to see more of what it’s about, if they have the time look, before making it the law of the land.

Everyone should get on board and ask Mr. Musk to include the line item RATIFY / ANNUL / UNDECIDED feature so that the will of the people can be made known about each and every matter of government importance.

All new laws must be Ratified in order to be put on the books or Annulled to take them off the books.

But why stop there?

The business of the State Legislatures should be included too.

The twelve thousand county commissioner’s country wide vote on hundreds of billions of dollars of activity every month…. And the local school board needs help too.

# A1. Should the US Congress allow the Citizens they represent to ratify or annul the laws, programs and policies they are governed by?

a. Yes

b. No

c. Undecided

# A2. As lawful agents of the Citizens should the US Congress and the State Legislatures create an enhanced voting franchise specifically designed to enable the demonstrably sapient segment of the population to ratify or annul the Laws, Policies and Programs of their own government bodies?

a. Yes

b. No

c. Undecided

What guarantee do we have of artificial intelligence being any more trustworthy than human intelligence? It would be better if every law/regulation is required to be written in plain English, easily understood by a successful graduate of a real grammar school and limited to 10,000 words or less.

Dumbasses believe it.

Some states, such as NJ, NY, CT, MA, CA, and other similar states, have no real opposition to the illegal, anti-constitutional edicts, regulations and such, which the suggestion for citizenry peer review, would be worthless anyway.

Here in NJ, the republicans are 90% RINOs that either intentionally subvert any conservative legislation, or are scared to stand for any real principles. Allowing review wouldnt change it on a state level due the degree of corruption that exists here.

I like this suggestion! The public does need to have a say so or against upcoming legislation! Especially when it comes before county commissioners, & school board decisions! Absolutely!

I have on several occasions, but the old standard “form letter” has been responses to me, unfortunately; I started researching the weather “modification” program here in CO, & the initial procedure I’m working on, is the “permitting” process! I intend to begin there first; the Dept of Natural Resources board reviews permits submitted; I found out a Notice to the Public has to be submitted after permit approval from the board. My goal is to see who is cloud seeding; how long the permit is for; what is being used to drop from aircraft, & the effects/affects on humans, & our lands! This will be a long process!

Fortunately, in real life, unless you’re a size queen, most women (XX) prefer average +/- one or two s.d. 😉 ; even Samantha (SitC) came up agin that issue.

I will admit to having a visible bulge in my britches, fortunately it arises from a well endowed wallet.

Sapience comes from wisdom and judgment - just because a computer program can discriminate and make a decision does not make it sapient (for that matter, is it even sentient?)

Frankly, this anthropomorphizing of computer programs has me worried - it’s bad enough that blue haired grannies dress their pooches up as babies, turning over moral clarity (wisdom&judgment) to some lines of code that have no real world experience nor the visceral understanding/comprehension of pain/pleasure, joy/sorrow seems like a Teflon freeway straight to a hellish dystopia, or worse.

Democracy, NO! - I agree, but providing info to the electorate and providing a mechanism for commentary should be advocated as part of a republican form of government - anything to counteract the efforts of the Mordor morass burying legislation in thousand plus page bills with references dozens of levels deep or only hours to digest sounds good to me (realistically, it is doubtful even this will lead to much if any uptick of legislative literacy.

I think we need to push for a new law that calls for "Truth in Labeling of All US legislation" and that it should be for current and future bills, as well as being retroactive, so that we rename the countless euphemized uniparty bills with names that reflect what they actually are about.

We also must replace Mike Johnson ASAP, preferably with an outsider - with a spine of steel.

We should also crowdsource dissemination of all bills, allowing for feedback with citizens' approval or diapproval on the bills. The new DOGE may have that in mind.

We should employ the same "we are the news now" movement to scrutinizing all proposed legislation and keeping politicians "honest."

3 days till Christmas, and I'm giggling at my computer, getting ready to venture out into the 15*f weather. Too cold to take the pups out today, so it's tooling around we go by ourselves.

Sun it out, for a while at least for now. Enjoy this fine day on planet Uranus

(sorry, I live in NJ, and it always feels as though we're in the stink end of a joke, somehow. Must be those govt issued drones flying over my house right now, sniffin out false flags)

See ya !

Yes, “sun it out” as long as you can take the cold! I have enjoyed our warm-up the past two weeks, & sit outside in the early morning sun (when the sun isn’t covered with fake clouds from weather manipulation here in Colorado). I read morning sun boosts health & sets your circadian rhythm for better sleep! This works for me, as I was not sleeping well, & when I began sitting outside this past week, I have slept very well!

Before we moved out to Colorado, the Dept. of Tourism promised 300 sunny days a year, but I never counted. Shorts and T-shirts in the middle of the winter standing in the snow as long as the sun is out. In 36 years haven't had 45 straight days of below zero overcast looking at the frozen gray green slush like we had in Chicago.

Thank You both so much for doing Friday and Sundays memes. We all look so forward to them and know you’re so busy it’s much appreciated, Merry Christmas!!!

There are two types of struggles we all deal with day to day, week to week and on and on. The first is the struggle within ourselves, to do what is right, right for us and also right for others around us. Then there is the struggle over the big picture, our country, politically what is good and right for us, our neighbors and our kids. Remarkably Drs. Malone you take us subscribers to many doors that can positively change our personal lives, our country and the world as well. I think the last five years have changed all of us here and many more as well.

Constantly making poor decisions in our lives can keep us from getting to a better more successful place. Resentment, jealousy, anger, envy, guilt, eating poorly even always being late, being unorganized are all bad decisions we make that turn into habits. I struggle with some of these daily. What we have to do is starve our bad habits and feed the good ones. From what I see this is a big part of what you both try to pass along to us.

This is a great video. It’s a Native American story called The Legend, of the Two Wolves. It sums up a lot of what I believe are the struggles we all have been trying to acknowledge and overcome these past several years.

Merry Christmas, J.Goodrich

Another in the Horse & Chicken genre. A frog went to the bank to apply for a loan to do some home improvements. For collateral he brought in a bucket of gunk from the pond where he lived. The loan officer, Glenda Pattiwack, concerned that the loan would be under-secured, went to the bank manager for approval. The bank manager, who had done business with Mr. Frog previously, took one look at the bucket said “It’s a nicknack Pattiwack, give the frog a loan.”

Fact Check: Chickens lack opposable thumbs, so it is impossible for them to grab anything, especially with feet stuck in the mud.

That said, the horse was later seen overturning all the water troughs on the property, making more puddles. So whatever happened, the horse must've enjoyed it.

We now know that Congress CAN create a 116 page bill, by eliminating 1,430 pages. We now need a bill that eliminates the amount of spending to bring us back to fiscal responsibility versus bankruptcy.

When the new administration takes the reins, the yearly budget needs to be PLANNED, and in my opinion, each need or agency voted on separately.

NO MORE OMNIBUS BILLS!
