I may be an outlier, the release of JFK assassination files will neither keep me up at night nor impact my afternoon siestas - I’m expecting another uuuuge nothing burger, but I’m paying attention if I’m actually wrong.

I was a feisty squirt back then and, if my memory is true 🤷‍♀️, we were on our way back home to Solomons, Md from doctors appts in Annapolis (and a McD’s meal ). That’s my involvement up until the past year when I took some interest in the rifle, the ammo, and the presumed assassin. Personally, with no more info than what’s available to everyone else, I wasn’t impressed.

OK, that said, from what I’ve gleaned, JFK was traveling at ~300 mpm (meters/minute) away from LHO who was on the 6th floor of the book depository, at the time of the fatal shots the limo was 81 meters away, entering a curved section of Elm just before passing under an overpass. So LHO, who I’ve read showed no particular sniper aptitude in The Corps, shooting DOWN, at a vehicle moving AWAY, using an Italian bolt action, and he fired ONE, TWOTHREE. And was able to keep a cross hair on JFK during an ever changing compound angle. Out of three rounds , LHO put 2&3 on target. Granted, at that distance environmental variables are not a factor but it’s all that other stuff that bothers me. But, I’m not invested - I’ll let others put in the extra hours. 😝

I’m more concerned that in the the years since, ¼ of the existence of the USofA, the government, feds/states/munis, have grown so large with such unchecked power that jfk assassination files can remain hidden, the attempted assassination of DJT can be hidden (tell me, which do we know more about?) and that our tripartite government has become so large, inbred skewed to the left that the executive branch attempting to operate w/in its constitutional bounds is hogtied by enemies of freedom.
