When I would pull my left leg into the truck the pain was staggering.
Hey, you two. Do either of you use magnesium? It's in epsom salts, also there is a spray. We used it when mom had pains in her back from cancer. Here is a link on it, if you are interested:
Thank you for the response. I have an aged bottle of Meloxicam, still half full, guess it didn't help me. I'll give it another chance. You're pretty young to have arthritis. How about a couple of knee braces the pressure helps, I think, I hope. I got one at CVS. WE Will prevail Kid.
Funny with the meloxicam, I went into my drawer to see what it was he had given me. I had gotten a refill to have it. I may have taken one or two out of the refill but it did help me. My knees are work related, I have gone up and down ladders and kneel as a carpenter for 40 years, they’re pretty worn out. Eventually if I can afford to take the time off I should get them replaced.
Ha, you revived my interest, and hope, for the meloxicam. I would venture that wonky knees are not reliable on ladder rungs and slippery roofs. Be kind and get One replaced soon. The Knee Men only replace one at a time. There's a recovery time in between procedures. Your Busy Time is coming up soon! You don't want to sit out Summer...
No there not good on roofs, I’ve curtailed certain roof jobs depending on what they are. I’m renovating a big Victorian home in West Roxbury now, 3 bathrooms and a kitchen so it’s hard to get time off. This job has a deadline of May 3rd. Very difficult to say the least.
Yes many great sub contractors. The house had old knob and tube wiring which we replaced. Basically 100% plumbing change and added a beautiful master bath. I wrote about the building inspector who’s a friend from years ago. He’s a great guy!
Going into Construction used to be a prime target for young men. The trade was taught in every school a dozen decades ago. Renovating a house from the Victorian era has got to be very special...
I just took my license 12 hour continuing Ed course for my builders license. 6 hours in classroom and 6 hours on line. If I were 20 years old again I would not want anything to do with running a construction company. Like every aspect of our lives it has been taken over by bureaucrats that never built anything. The code writers are corrupted by donations and lobbyists from businesses with interests. It’s so bad they have put off implementation of the new code book until August because the people that wrote it don’t even know what it means, it’s insanity these new energy codes. They figure if 30 inches of insulation is good 60 inches must be better, but how your supposed to fit it into a building and get someone to pay for it is another thing!! I should have been a dentist🙄.

My wife does magnesium often and I do have it probably not enough, once a week. My wife swears by it!!

I do at times use a knee wrap from cvs. I should get a couple of new ones they did help. Not sure where they are honestly.
There's always Amazon Gulp! Gulp! I like to see what I'm buying but but. My knee brace is like a long sock that I pull over my knee...simple, cheap.

You must have a team working with you. Well...

I should have been an Airline stewardess serving cocktails.
