There is a problem with “just a little “. It never stops with a little. The bag of chips…. The chocolate 🍫 bar…. Popcorn…. It always calls to you like cocaine and you’re never done till it’s utterly gone. For me, abstinence is the holy grail.

Some people can do it. I said my mom could down 3 glasses of wine of an evening, but sweets-ehh. She could eat a little piece of real good chocolate, maybe every couple months to a year. I found a big bag of very good chocolate in her pantry hardly touched. I think she bought it for my sister when she visited, but sis didn't get back until mom passed.
Nonsense. Richard Pryor had a comedy routine about cocaine. He said (approximately) that some people he'd known had been doing cocaine for fifteen years and they weren't hooked.

Good point. I call them "trigger foods". They should be avoided at all times.

For me, you hit the nail on the head!

Ah ha ha ha! Yes, sugar ! The daily cocaine hit I’ve had for low these 76 years but I’m not addicted…. At least not until the next snack attack.
Caramel Corn is having it's way with me!
