Here in Texas an army sgt on leave working as an uber driver drove into an antifa riot. Trying to get out of there was confronted with an ak47 toting trog who pointed it at him. You're right that the states' county Sheriff's are the key to some good actions. The Sheriff's are all elected within their county. This election can be easily prepared for by citizens. They will be looking for what is called a "Constitutional Sheriff" for whom to rally behind and vote into office.
Yes! The County Sheriffs may become the last bulwark to block counties from being over-run (like EVERY institution in the USA today) - by the damnable COMMUNISTS.
With state nullification laws enacted it seems to me that locally elected sheriffs who belong to national organizations dedicated to constitutional principles could intervene when federal officials are acting un-constitutionally. A complaint could be referred to an elected magistrate for adjudication. Example might be small organic farm having livestock stupidly seized and destroyed without recourse by armed DOA officials who act in the service of Big Ag, backed up only by policy pronouncements from an unelected federal bureaucrat. There is always the argument that corruption can exist all the way down to town mayors. But… there is a social immune system that must include honest press reporting and investigative journalism that has been disrupted by the leftist invasion. It can be restored with citizen engagement, citizens who are literate, and a new birth of local legislation aligned to the constitution as well. It’s a hard problem … takes effort and public education. Everybody must be on board. I’m idealistic but attempting to think this through.
Sadly, not any more. A 2020 election in King County, WA changed the Sheriff to an appointed position, not elected. Clearly, the electorate didn't have a clue as to why this was a terrible idea.

The Dems worship the creation of Big Government and the Republicans do not understand the use of “ Endowed by their Creator” in the Preamble. The use of “ their Creator” vs “God” as “ The Creator” was an assurance of religious freedom of no religious affiliation. Instead, making it a clear statement that no American answers to a big government. A limited government answers to “ We The People”. The reason it was written as such was to avoid the persecution of any religious sect as has been the case time and again. Prior to the American Revolution, history recalled episodes of religious wars and expulsion dating from biblical times to the Ottoman,Persian,Chinese dynasties,Mohammed, the Crusades,Spanish Inquisition, French Revolution etc. Hence, there would be no single State religious supremacy. This is horrible news since the Prosecution did not prove its case. The jury was not unanimous. They had to agree unanimously that he INTENDED TO COMMIT A crime, beyond a reasonable doubt, not a particular crime. One of the possible 3 intended crimes, with one being out of the court’s jurisdiction. At most this is an intention which elevated the tolled misdemeanors to felony. This is not American Jurisprudence in action. The DA ran his election campaign on “Getting Trump.”
If this continues we have big apologies to give to our children for allowing American to slide away from us in one generation. Trump is suing the DOJ for damages of 100 million. His attorney fees will be 1B when it’s over.

Since the Democrats took over my county, I’m finding zero appreciation for any conservative speech. I just wrote to the entire County Board of Supervisors that ranked choice voting cannot be allowed in the home county of Thomas Jefferson! I cannot imagine being forced to rank a list of candidates on a ballot when all I want to do is vote FOR the candidate I support to represent my district. But, you’d have to rank them all for your vote for #1 to be counted. I told them in my email, I cannot imagine in the United States I’d see the day a scheme to silence citizens unless we agree to vote for a long list of people on a ballot. I’m fuming right now, they’re holding their meeting middle of the day tomorrow to vote on this assault on well over 200 years of a balloting system that has worked just fine. I hope the auditorium is full of people who can take off work to go speak at this sham public meeting.

I have a tenuous theory about fraudulent phone (text, e-mail) solicitations and alerts. My theory is that in at least some cases, there may be more to them than simple cash harvesting. This is based on the ad infinitum repeat calling I have experienced in the past, even after I have emphatically and impolitely told the same callers NO and DON'T CALL. If cash harvesting were the only goal involved, would they keep targeting the same numbers week after week, or move on to other prospects?
I wonder if this is targeted harassment and demoralization, a la Yuri Bezmenov. Perhaps these operations are begun with seed money from wealthy subversives; perhaps self-sustaining on proceeds from fraud; perhaps siphoned off for the benefit of opponents (i.e. intended for Trump, diverted to Harris); perhaps used to fund globalist/woke militant organizations. It would seem a sound business model for sociopaths.

The Dems worship the creation of Big Government and the Republicans do not understand the use of “ Endowed by their Creator” in the Preamble. The use of “ their Creator” vs “God” as “ The Creator” was an assurance of religious freedom of no religious affiliation. Instead, making it a clear statement that no American answers to a big government. A limited government answers to “ We The People”. The reason it was written as such was to avoid the persecution of any religious sect as has been the case time and again. Prior to the American Revolution, history recalled episodes of religious wars and expulsion dating from biblical times to the Ottoman,Persian,Chinese dynasties,Mohammed, the Crusades,Spanish Inquisition, French Revolution etc. Hence, there would be no single State religious supremacy. Hence a separation of church and state or legislation written based on a theological doctrinal ideology.

Gail, amazing posts, not sure I’ve so noticed them as much as today or I should say yesterday, I was at work and couldn’t read all. Although the democrats have had their march through the institutions for decades it feels as though this is coming to a head quickly now. Once Trump is put into prison there’s no way the three letter agencies (the deep state) are going to allow him to be placed back in the White House period. This election will be over and Kamala like Joe will be placed into power. It’s striking how the democrats rise to power in this past ten or so years mirrored Hitlers rise and the tactics used. They say history repeats itself but my God it’s amazing the similarities. I watched a documentary over the weekend and one piece of it was the Night of The Long Knives when Hitler, who had imprisoned his friend and left a pistol in the cell for him to kill himself, had the SS go in and assassinate him. This was shortly after Hitler had really come to power. It set off approximately 500 murders in that one night eliminating any opposition to the new leader, Hitler. You can only imagine the mindset of every German after witnessing all who even had a thought of opposition end up in a pool of blood. But that could never happen here, yah right. This complete lawlessness by our government has brought us to this point and like a title wave I don’t think it can be stopped. This government has pushed people into a position where we are trying ti survive and it seems to the people, you have to much to loose, so the good average American gets up goes to work and can’t get involved enough to protest or even change things. Many can’t afford it or quit frankly don’t know or don’t care. We are in a terrible terrible position and without huge massive protests like never seen in this country before this wave will continue to wash away our freedoms.

This is horrible news since the Prosecution did not prove its case. The jury was not unanimous. They had to agree unanimously that he INTENDED TO COMMIT A crime, beyond a reasonable doubt, not a particular crime. One of the possible 3 intended crimes, with one being out of the court’s jurisdiction. At most this is an intention which elevated the tolled misdemeanors to felony. This is not American Jurisprudence in action. The DA ran his election campaign on “Getting Trump.”
If this continues we have big apologies to give to our children for allowing American to slide away from us in one generation. Trump is suing the DOJ for damages of 100 million. His attorney fees will be 1B when it’s over.

Since the Democrats took over my county, I’m finding zero appreciation for any conservative speech. I just wrote to the entire County Board of Supervisors that ranked choice voting cannot be allowed in the home county of Thomas Jefferson! I cannot imagine being forced to rank a list of candidates on a ballot when all I want to do is vote FOR the candidate I support to represent my district. But, you’d have to rank them all for your vote for #1 to be counted. I told them in my email, I cannot imagine in the United States I’d see the day a scheme to silence citizens unless we agree to vote for a long list of people on a ballot. I’m fuming right now, they’re holding their meeting middle of the day tomorrow to vote on this assault on well over 200 years of a balloting system that has worked just fine. I hope the auditorium is full of people who can take off work to go speak at this sham public meeting.

I know you have been alerting us to the many ways to deceive and threaten our freedoms and are doing all you can to address these violations. I have been overwhelmed by the sheer volume of the trend towards violence and this piece puts the crime focus and the explanation for all to see, except there are still too many who aren't looking and think that there are good things coming out of Washington and don't even know about the leadership of WHO. I have a tenuous theory about fraudulent phone (text, e-mail) solicitations and alerts. My theory is that in at least some cases, there may be more to them than simple cash harvesting. This is based on the ad infinitum repeat calling I have experienced in the past, even after I have emphatically and impolitely told the same callers NO and DON'T CALL. If cash harvesting were the only goal involved, would they keep targeting the same numbers week after week, or move on to other prospects?
I wonder if this is targeted harassment and demoralization, a la Yuri Bezmenov. Perhaps these operations are begun with seed money from wealthy subversives; perhaps self-sustaining on proceeds from fraud; perhaps siphoned off for the benefit of opponents (i.e. intended for Trump, diverted to Harris); perhaps used to fund globalist/woke militant organizations. It would seem a sound business model for sociopaths.
Has anyone ever heard a legislator talk about legislation to protect Americans from phony solicitations that almost certainly bilk the unwary of countless billions of dollars each year? Why not?
