You might find this interesting, Robert.

On VIN(Veterinary Information Network), an online forum for veterinarians, this one episode of Rogan has been an ongoing thread since then, with heated debate amongst vets about all things COVID. It is a unique and enduring thread.

I am on your 'side,' if there is a side and support more vigorous study, etc around EVERYTHING that COVID was and is. Only through really understanding the subject, can we know what actually happened.

For this, I have been vilified by my fellow veterinarians(my favorite was when one of them called me Deputy Dipshit--real professional, right?). Anyway, I was happy to take the hits because occasionally, I would get a private email, in one case an actual snail mail letter, from other vets who agree with 'us,' but are afraid to speak out publicly. I feel like the discussion MUST happen, no matter how contentious it gets.

It surprised me that veterinarians could just throw out all their training and go with a narrative....actually, it was VERY shocking. I had no idea my profession has such a strong herd mentality.

Thank you for doing this podcast. I think you and Dr McCoullough were the vanguards in getting the discussion started.

Thank you Lois for that post - I will look for this thread on VIN. I too have been ghosted by my colleagues who have excluded me from our monthly get together to talk about cases. We’ve been friends for about 23 years and my refusal to mask and get vaxxed resulted in an ousting ! It is good to know there are a few vets out there who see through the nonsense !

I think it's so strange what has happened. One of my classmates(I graduated in 1996) fell out with me over vaccines. For about 10 secs, the AVMA sent packets out to VETS to encourage their CLIENTS to be vaccinated.....ummmm....that is against the law for us to give human medical advice and yet our professional organization is recommending we break the law for an untested new therapy. I said no way...I never got the packet, they pulled it back pretty quick, but the fact that they even considered it a good idea was shocking.

I think if you search Joe Rogan and Malone you will find the thread. It was moved to issues and arguments. Paul moved it so everyone who was provaxx and prolockdown could be as ugly as possible and he wouldn't have to intervene. He actually kicked me off VIN for about 3 days because I responded in kind to someone who was ugly to me on another thread. So, I called him and he relented and let me back on. Never mind I didn't name call or anything like that, I just disagreed with some liberal blather(can't even remember WHY I got kicked). But on this Joe Rogan thread, there is a particularly nasty person named Matthew who is foul mouthed and calls everyone idiots and other things and uses tons of expletives. Paul put the discussion there so he can ignore the ugliness going on. I have always loved VIN and respected Paul very much for all his hard work on it, so it was shocking to have this kind of treatment, just for voicing an opinion.

Anyway, there are a few of us who regularly clash with the nasty people. I hop back on every couple of weeks now and share papers that are slowly but surely chipping away at the nonsense. Of course these diehards always say the papers that go against them are 'garbage' papers or something similar.

I try to use a lot of common sense in practice and in life.....this is evidently frowned upon now in Vet Med.

Great to find an ally!!
