This was predicted roughly 250 years ago: essentially the Republican will stand until "the people" discover/understand/take advantage of being able to vote themselves other people’s money. When we eliminated the brake states would put on the fed (17th amendment conferring the right for senators to whore themselves out for votes instead of representing the states themselves ), the last barrier to disintegration of the republic was breached - that only took 150 years then another 100 to get to the point where instead of grabbing your neighbors wealth we’re now grabbing our neighbors tenth generation removed descendant’s wealth. And that’s just today. 💩 💩 in chief is proposing a $7.3T (TRILLION) budget, with a concomitant increase in taxation. [granted, I’d be comparing Chinese gooseberries to watermelons, but our founding fathers brewed tea in Boston Harbor over single digit taxation, we went to war over sentiments similar to what’s happening today]

Scripture says that it’s the love of money that’s at the root of all sorts of evils. We’re seeing that played out here in spades (and hearts, clubs, diamonds - the whole deck): the love of other people’s money is the cause of all sorts of evils sufficient to cause the destruction of a republic, society.

It’s addictive folks: Other People’s Money, OPM <- that’s right, say it with me, OhPee’eM
