Merriam-Webster (online) defines Occam's Razor as follows:

"a scientific and philosophical rule that entities should not be multiplied unnecessarily which is interpreted as requiring that the simplest of competing theories be preferred to the more complex or that explanations of unknown phenomena be sought first in terms of known quantities"

For decades I have read and heard reference to this rule as a tool indispensable for science, and no doubt, it has an important place. But who else might be a fan of the rule?

If we can agree that intel agencies and others affiliated with narrative control exist; and that these work zealously to preserve their monopolies on narrative; then maybe we can also agree that Occam's Razor provides cover for those in the business of deceit. I tend to think that where real deceit has been deployed, the simplest and most mundane of competing theories is NOT always to be preferred.

When one realizes we've been immersed in institutional deceit from birth, everything we've ever learned must be reexamined. And that in itself is an adventure full of fascination and peril.

Yes, And what, after all, IS the "simplest" explanation for any given phenomena?

Though I am not a deist, a non-physical creative entity seems like a very simple explanation for an unexplained physical event. Thus I can sympathize with those who choose Creation over Evolution (as an obvious example). While such an explanation is not necessarily correct, it seems to me it should be seen as allowable, as - for me at least - such an explanation satisfies the Occam's Razor test very well.

What a beautiful stunning place. If I was an alien I would want to go there just to exist around such beauty. Earth is certainly an amazing place. When it comes to aliens I’m drawn to scale. Here on earth we look at human ability from a scale that has its limits. If you think about how those limits have increased over a short amount of the scale we call time, imagine the increase into our limits in a thousand years. Our scale of energy and how we are able and not able to harness it will certainly change over centuries of time also. When we look through a high powered telescope to worlds that we consider light years away, maybe to other life forms it’s a much closer trip by using the proper harnessed energy. There very well could be other life forms in other galaxies that are thousands of years more advanced than we are, and have learned how to scale space down to much shorter distances because they have figured out how to use energy in a much more efficient powerful way. If mankind could possibly survive, which is a question in itself, for a thousand more years, a trip to another solar system may be like getting away to an island on a weeks vacation. J.Goodrich

Souls have been visiting other planets forever. That is where we learn and grow in between Earth lives. No physical body required. Each planet has qualities to grasp for the learning curve. Why do you suppose Mars is called the planet of war, fire, etc. Venus for beauty, peace and love. I have experienced this and remember, now who's nuts, James? Maybe we all should have a contest!

Expand full comment

Just a couple of questions if I may. Do you think there are other planets with life similar to our planet with similar life forms? Do you think they could be more advanced? Do you think if we here on earth are able to survive without major set backs for 1000 years that we could travel to other solar systems in a craft?

I think good has created numerous worlds. Why would he create just one. I’m sure there are more advanced worlds and some not as advanced.

Remote viewing - as well as other techniques - has verified that technologically advanced people exist and travel through this universe in ships that use unconventional motion technologies. Apparently we have succeeded in reverse-engineering these technologies to some extent and now maintain a small fleet of our own ships. The word is that we have indeed traveled to other solar systems in such craft. But it is "easier" (if you are properly trained) to go to these places in spirit only.

We can’t be the only planet in all the galaxies . It would make no sense.

Similar, but different enough to be difficult to comprehend with the limits of the rational mind. Some are advanced and have been for millennia. That doesn't mean that there are no bad actors. The Atlanteans and Lemurians weren't just a myth. The records are only available by psychic means, the records were destroyed in the great land breakup (twice). The Altlanteans were more scientific and warlike, where the Lemurians tended to be more spiritual. We would need to learn the art of materializing and de-materialize. more to come, gotta go.

How do you know this?

There is a small pile of literature out there on these subjects. The techniques used to recover such information include telepathy in a meditative state, personal recall of past lives using various techniques, and stories told us by those identifying as off-world beings.

The problem with this idea that souls visit other planets between lives is that almost no one here can remember such visits, so they cannot serve to enrich our understanding of life.

What people can remember about between lives is that they go to some unknown place, get processed, then eventually are returned to Earth in a new birth. As things stand, though, this is an unhelpful experience, as so few can recall it, much less the lives they lived before.

It's quite interesting that Dr. Malone is posting this kind of information, particularly now as I've just returned from having my painting framed. It is titled "Manitou" - Native American for the life force in all things (in particular a tribe in the northeastern part of the country as I learned from Graham Hancock's works). I was already quite familiar with Russel Targ's and Hal Putoff's work with Uri Geller and others at SRI. As I was working on Manitou I experienced a surprising series of synchronicities and a paranormal event. If I may, these experiences can be read about, including an image of the artwork. at:

“Miracles of Mind” by Russell Targ and Jane Katra Ph.D.

P.S. For those who think that only Jesus Christ is the one true master entitled to perform miracles, I've just finished a painting of Christ ascending the cross perfectly healed, strong and at peace with no indications of the horrid crucifixion on him or the cross. The Christian symbol of the cross, bare and without signs of the crucifixion, symbolize the resurrection. The painting is titled "The Victory of the Human Spirit - Christ Consciousness" and the synchronicities I experienced during and after painting the work were off the charts. The painting is exceedingly uplifting as was my intention when creating it.

Well, Christ did have "indications of the horrid crucifixion on him," He had the holes in his hands from the nails and on his side from the spear that was thrust into him after he died.

Actually, the cross of one Christian group, the Catholics, does show the wounds of Christ on the cross.

As I read about the disappearances, the first thing comes to mind is large predator Cats.

The Rockies has 200 lb Cougars. The Fla Glades has Panthers. The Jungles have Leopards.

Most all can bury the prey and opt to return. But that wouldn't explain "Not" finding contents that do not dissolve quickly and are often colorful. Folks disappear on every square foot of earth and never leave a trace for the seekers and searchers. We all will return to the earth one day.

Reincarnation is a verified fact of life. The problem is in whether you trust the various methods used to do this. Ian Stevenson's was the most "scientific" approach. Yet other techniques have provided verification in a much wider set of cases.

Zulu Mythology about the Moon: There was a time when Earth did not have a moon.

Zulu Shaman, Credo Mutwa said that Zulu legends believe The Moon to be hollow and the home of the Python or hitauri, a race of intelligent extraterrestrials. The legend states The Moon was brought here hundreds of generations ago by two brothers, Wowane and Mpanku, who were the leaders of these Reptilian extraterrestrials.

These two were known as the water brothers and they both had scaly skin like a fish. This tale is very similar to the Mesopotamia and Sumerian accounts about the two chief leader brothers Enlil and Enki, (Lords of the Earth). Credo continues telling the Zulu legends of how Wowane and Mpanku stole The Moon in the form of an egg from the “Great Fire Dragon,” and emptied out the yolk until it was hollow. Then they “rolled” The Moon across the sky to the Earth which brought about cataclysmic events on this planet that ended the “Golden Age” of the past.

As is always the case with UFOs, aliens, and the like, ... lots of stories and never hard evidence. Anything that is observed (backed with photos or video) are either faked, existing human technology, or are within the realm and capabilities of beings who wish to deceive and point people away from their creator God. Those beings would be the fallen angels who are part of team lucifer, but call them aliens if you wish... People who disappear in the mountains and the bush... we can all come up with 3 to 4 scenarios that could bring about such an occurrence even before we get to the list of fanciful or science fictional.

In the case of UFOs and aliens may I recommend the book 'Alien Intrusion (Updated & Expanded)' by Gary Bates.

With that which, despite all of the sub-categories, falls under the areas of telepathy and clairvoyance, the majority of the experiments that are used in support of said crystal ball-ery are not difficult to conduct and require little to zero funding... Go ahead, knock yourself out, conduct the experiments yourself, and let me know how you make out...

The ussr had a paranormal study institute that made a lot of claims of paranormal detection and I seem to remember one particularly adept at paranormalizing. A US expert on paranormal frauds went there and critiqued their methods and came away with the opinion the least talented fraud would have had a field day in that institute. And was not too impressed with their star performer. Typical of ussr science back then..if not stolen pretty much useless.

You are so right, and he’s not alone. The historical Buddha performed miracles and so did highly realized monks over the years. But in my lifetime, it is now taught that the demonstration of miracle powers, among even the most realized, is considered very bad form. So negative karma. Therefore, no Buddhist will do it. The reason why is that modern times are so degenerated that, rather than inspire people like in older eras, it will hurt them. The masses are incapable of integrating advanced spiritual experiences. That’s sad.

How do you know he performed miracles?

If you mean Siddhartha Gautama, the historical Buddha, as the “he” here, it’s documented throughout the Pali Cannon, or Tripitaka, the collection of sacred books. The advanced powers of later realized masters, such as in Tibet, would be collected in much the same way. Like I said, current teachings by highly realized masters actually instruct you away from displaying any, so miracle powers are a long running theme in the Buddhist world. I just realized something- the “he” I referred to initially was Barry, the commenter you responded to. He’s not alone in being unable to see, or relate to, miracles as inspiring, because we are in degenerate times. The farther we get from our spiritual roots, say like the golden age of anything, the more degraded we become and lack the capacity to exist in higher frequencies, so we lose faith in the existence of them. That’s what I meant.

This is a far too cynical attitude in this day and age. It sounds like you have not studied these subjects beyond the literature available in the 1950s! Though much of the physical evidence is hidden, it does exist and there are people who have seen it.. Remote viewing....I don't discard as I have seen examples in my own life of people who received information in this manner. A friend of mine was a gal who worked on the 'Hillside Strangler' murder case in Los Angeles with the police department in the 1970s or early 80s. She was psychic and came up with clues, which turned out to be valid and used by the police to get the criminal. Also, my grandmother's brother was drugged and robbed on a train in the early 1900s up in the state of Washington. He was a drug salesman who had a suitcase with drug samples. He struck up a conversation with a stranger...and was offered a drink. It was a 'mickey finn' and it could have killed a horse. He survived and went back to Illinois and told his sister (mu grandmother) about it It was incredible...she had a dream and saw an address in the state of Washington. On his next trip, her brother discovered the man's name in the building at that address. He spent time watching the building. Lo and behold, the man who had drugged him emerged. So, he went to the police and told them the story, but they could not do anything,. My great-uncle had no proof. My father knew this story and the name of this man. Some years later, he was reading a newspaper story and saw the name of this man...he had been executed for the murder of his wife. This ESP or whatever does exist. I have had flashes myself at times. For example, a woman handed me a business card with her name and phone number and told me that she was a writer. I asked her what kind of things she wrote? In turn, she asked me, "What kind of writing do you think I do? iInstantly I said, "Detective stories!" I was right!

The History of the Cross in Africa...

"A mystery that has fascinated African's for thousands of years. Seen in cross section, this rather dull looking crystal shows a cross like pattern in it. It shows a pattern of the kind that our people of olden days used to call the perfect cross, or the cross of the sun. Before I tell you more, I wish you to know that the thing known as a cross was not brought to Africa by missionaries, knowledge of the cross in its many forms, was here in South Africa from the remotest of remote times.

It was already known to the mystics of Africa long, long before the Christian religion was established in Europe, and furthermore, the various types of cross were used by African healers and mystics for either good purposes, or evil ones. Africans believed that the cross, either made of wood, ivory or metal was a powerful object, possessed of great magic, capable of unleashing powers of healing, or renewing or powers of destruction and killing. "

"There were three types of cross that Africans used for healing, there was the T-shaped cross known in Western mysticism as the tau cross, then there was the proper cross of the kind we are told Jesus was crucified upon. A cross with a long stem and short arms. Then there was the unsaid cross, known to white people as the Ankh, which many western thinkers wrongly assume to have been only known to the ancient Egyptians. This ankh was actually known by our people as the knot of eternity, or the knot of eternal life, and it was used even by Khoi San people, for purposes of healing. "

"Our people believed also in what they called the perfect cross, the most powerful cross of all. This was a cross that had all its four wings of exactly equal length. The cross of the kind that white people call the Celtic cross. A cross which is often imprisoned within a circle, with all its wings of exactly equal length, our people used this cross, drawing it in its many forms, healing some of the most horribly diseases to which the body is prone."

"In many western countries, when an old person dies it is simply the death of an old human being who has gone through life and whose days on earth now come to an end. But in Africa, the death of an elder - an old man or an old woman, becomes a supreme disaster because in the mind of that elder often carries knowledge passed down from parent to child."

"Knowledge that is not only valuable to Africa and her children, but to humankind as a whole. No matter where you go in Africa, no matter how deep into the interior of the dark continent you tread, you will find very ancient stories which are incredibly similar."
