Precisely what I have always thought. I was a high school sophomore, just getting out of school on that Friday (November 22, 1963), and I was exhilarated to have nailed a perfect score on an Algebra 2 exam. My emotional high ended abruptly when a classmate's mom, driving by to pick up her son, told us the President had been killed by assassination. The ensuing days saw our adolescent political awareness dial up from 0 to hyperacute, as we watched mourning ceremonies and a funeral procession on our little black-and-white TV sets, all the while wondering "How could this have happened?" Little did we know that we were being escorted into more than 50 years of the most vile cover-up in American history.

LBJ died 4 years later out of office. Stark raving mad. Was it natural or enhanced? Scotch that he loved poisoned? Hand of Dulles? Need to change Dulles airport name to Trump.

Just a coincidence, but - Alan Dulles - was a "COUNCIL on FOREIGN RELATIONS" member - and his older brother - John Foster Dulles - was one of the FOUNDERS of the "CFR." Further, John Foster Dulles was secretary of state under president Dwight Eisenhower; and Alan Dulles director of the CIA (its 2nd director).

Oh, and, John Foster Dulles stated that the "Charter of the United Nations supersedes the Constitution of the United States."

I knew of Dulles for decades,

Aren't all the excerpt's quoted over the years by authors with grander annual salaries than mine offer up the best synapse of the stealth of this guy and all his merry men. If I read the entire book Tom it could lead to seeking therapy. I might go AK47 or worse, move to Canada! Hahaha

Ha ha, but when I read AK47 or worse, it struck an uncomfortable chord, Randy. I hope it's just my trigger and not yours (ha ha)

That is funny, as I did work part time for the USPS when I was doing my St. Paul TVI continued education full time day program. It was about that time a first episode of a postal employee going bonkers with spraying lead on co-workers. It was an AK47. Bought dirt cheap. My time spent there sorting packages on the second floor mail division gives me solid evidence to peoples real dire behaviors, are indeed work related! Sigh~

Johnson's term ended in 1969 and he died in 1973. Could you be thinking of someone else?

Expand full comment

No. Time line off. I thought it was right after. How old was he?

He was 64 at date of death in January 1973, reportedly from a heart attack caused by severe heart disease. The life-long chain smoking apparently caught up with him.

Years ago I read what I mentioned. Coverup? Who knows. So many died that were involved under questionable circumstances. Vince Foster was found dead in a park and there was no physical evidence found at the scene.

Amazingly unforgettable. Like a Nation wide instant horror video recording,

placed in our minds in split seconds. Some things you can not un-see!

Do veterans have similar personal episodes? And are unable to delete them?
