The thing I wonder is why the Family of J.F.K. are in such opposition to R.F.K. Jr. and his opinion about both the assassinations. Is this denial about the killing and push back on Robert part of the all too often blind mass formation? I find it hard to live in such a devious world, no wonder people would rather believe the fairy tale.

Folks as entwined with the mob as their family was cannot afford open windows.

Some of the Kennedy's may have skeletons in their closet. In family's, not all members are close or in agreement over everything. Family's are complicated.

Maybe the JFK family got a big payoff for their silence, along with a threat of their own demise ЁЯд╖ЁЯП╝тАНтЩВя╕П

JFK was no saint, either. And the Camelot fiction and the con that he wanted to end the Cold War is laughable.

I don't believe we are discussing the morality of JFK, the more important focus is the underpinnings of the event of his assassination.

The article claims 'Johnson continued to ruthlessly cause unnecessary deaths and life-altering injuries sustained by hundreds of thousands in the Vietnam War, an outcome that the Kennedy administration would not have tolerated." /that claim, and other specious claims that Kennedy was a peacemaker, run directly contrary to history. Most of the Kennedy history was fabricated by his flacks.

If you have a point you want to make about JFK and the history of him and his family, why not write a piece detailing all the facts and post it to your sub stack?

Jackie invented the Camelot narrative and it was promoted as a favor to her to keep her quiet

Kennedy's stooges were only too happy to advance that fairy tale.

"The family" is two individuals highly likely paid off to at the nth hour (not years ago) speak out against his reputation. How many family members/relatives in our country would take a kickback to say something someone else feeds them about a family member? Uh huh, many sinful family members who walk a different walk for self gain.

I sense it is much more complex than a "payoff". These actions are deeply wounded reactions that have not been addressed and healed. It looks like simple ego doing what ego does... albeit with Power, Money and Prestige in the world. People can be very threatened by the truth and do everything in their realm to side rail it, thinking that they are doing it for "our good" That is my take, Susanne.
