I think the answer is for people to focus more on prevention (healthy diet/lifestyle) and go to naturopathic physicians for treatment when needed. If everyone put their focus there, it would put the allopathic medical/pharmaceutical/health insurance industry out of business. Most health insurance companies don't cover naturopathic treatments, but they cost a LOT less.

I agree but that doesn’t help with pregnancy . You have to be checked. A friend had her baby at home and the baby died. She had an emergency and didn’t make to the hospital.

I agree with you in this instance. I am so sorry. I should have made it clear that I'm referring to physical illnesses. Prenatal care is very important and I wouldn't suggest anyone have a baby at home unless they have a qualified mid-wife or nurse there. Being in an area with a hospital nearby would be advisable as well. The medical industry is good for some things and could have helped for sure in this situation.

That is so sad. It shouldn't be, but that's just how it is here in the U.S., Inc. these days for far too many people. You'd think we live in a 3rd world country, wouldn't you? I remember when things were different just a few decades ago. I've watched things go downhill and it seems that now it's accelerating.
