An out-of-state mega-hospital company has bought up all of the hospitals and many of the other medical providers in town gaining an effective monopoly. Their care is atrocious and almost worse than no care. We are having lots of people drive the 45-60 minutes to the next town of only around 10,000 for healthcare, because we can't get decent care in our town. The nearest big city is so.ething like 250 miles away.
I wish there was a way to push these money grabbers, who don't care about patients, out of town. We didn't have all of the top specialist, but we still had good care before Banner Health bought everything.
