I live in Washington state, and I am so appalled at the state government here! Our current AG who will be governor next Jan is a complete clown (and that’s putting it nicely). The lawfare against doctors here is abhorrent (as well as all the suits against Trump during his first term). And, since the pandemic, I have lost complete trust in the health care here. My doctor of 25 years used to be great, she listened to me, and we discussed options. Now, she has to tow the health care party line. 😡 I so want to see justice against the jab and all of the maniacal mandates that were perpetrated against the populace. It’s beautiful here, but I’m done with the political BS, we just need to find the right red state with medical freedom along with the other conservative values that are definitely lost here.
Daniel Perry deserves the medal! He is the definition of standing up for his fellow man and taking care of the vulnerable in a difficult situation! And I detest that he was arrested because the violent threat he stopped died. Calling the dead perpetrator a “victim” is sick, another example of the pervasive mental illness in this country.
Sorry, rant over. Not many people here in WA that I can commiserate with. Thank you.
I emphasize with you and your very unfortunate situation. The Pacific Northwest is indeed a beautiful part of our country. I have a history there of approximately 10 years. I ended up in Florida, where I have called home for the past 30 plus years. My heart is pure Floridian, although that has never made me forget how truly beautiful the NW is. In my experience, I have found the people everywhere I have visited or lived, to be wonderful. Thank God for that.
I have found no state or country to be homogeneous in its distribution of political leanings. There always seems to be certain areas that might be more likely to have similar philosophies to mine. Perhaps Eastern Washington may be a better fit for you. Or even Eastern Oregon or Northern California. You definitely should consider areas of Idaho.
It could be that your best solution might be to transfer the energies it would take to relocate, and apply them to working with like minded neighbors to change the spirit of your community to adapt to a more positive environment at home. You and your family have our heartfelt wishes that with God’s help you can find a happy solution.
Another Washingtonian here, and you have my full measure of commiseration. Beautiful state geographically. Horrible politically and I don't see that changing in my lifetime.
I'll commiserate with you. I, too, live in WA state, which I refer to as "way over at the end of the world." I cannot leave because of a family situation, but you can. Call a few medical offices in different areas of some red states, and ask.
The midwest is nice. I have lived here my entire life, 65 years, and will never leave. 10 to 15 years ago, I visited CA and NY multiple times, I wouldn't go there now.
Sorry, to say this, but red state doctors also chose to follow mandates. You have to study and prepare to be healthy. Doctors, hospitals and healthcare are to be avoided due to politicians who are not educated to be physicians, are practicing medicine. Also, doctors were paid well, when they complied with vaccine schedules. Money talks. Status talks. Citizens are to be depopulated ( per idiot Bill Gates crew, didn’t he drop out of college to play on the computer? He is not a doctor, but money talks). Don’t think that just because Trump is in office this will change. Until the WHO and WEF are dismantled, the attempt to restructure population will not stop. That is why Abortion, Vaccines, Fighting Cancer, Genetically Modified Foods ( toxins), are all added to foods/ fertilizer and the list goes on. Read your labels. Eat real food, exercise , go outside barefooted and ground, pray, meditate. And for everything you have in you: Don’t Comply. If no one complied to their nonsense, masks, toxic injections, social distancing, and idiotic rules, they would not have the power. They would not have control and we would not be making them wealthier. They became wealthy on those PCR tests, masks, equipment production. Also, The Teachers Union became more powerful to take away parenting rights. Teachers can now make certain your children are injected with toxic ( ingredients of who knows what). Teachers are not doctors. Oh, and don’t forget the liberal agenda presented by the courts, they too, can now play doctor.
Presently moving from Boulder CO to south central Oklahoma to escape blue crowds and governments. Lots of forests, rivers and lakes and the scenery is beautiful if you don't mind a horizon lined with windmills.
Also the only state with not one blue county in the last election.
Living in Colorado has become so expensive; we have considered leaving, but right now we have too much invested to leave. We live SE of Parker, & the subdivisions are popping up faster than we imagined. Elbert county has gone crazy allowing so much growth, & the school district has gone way over the line trying to indoctrinate children! No transparency here!
North eastern OK and eastern central OK, near Lake Eufaula are beautiful areas full of trees although no redwoods and not as many conifers (1/3 conifers and 2/3 deciduous). Lots of fishing and hunting opportunities in the area. Very nice people whose political views you will probably find align quite well with yours. No tornadoes to speak of. Mild winters, beautiful spring and fall. Summer is a bit warm compared to most of WA. Check it out. Very peaceful area.
I live in Washington as well. Inslee was also a joke and I am glad to get rid of him (would have preferred a jail sentence). Not that his replacement will be better, but maybe more easily despised and replaced?
No need to be sorry for the rant. I live here too and I know exactly what you mean. My gay lib sister, 78 years old, had a TDS meltdown. It would have been funny but she appeared to really be in pain.
Here's another Washingtonian commiserating thoroughly with you. (Centralia). I know of a doctor here whose license was suspended because he prescribed Ivermectin to several patients (with mixed results). Most of Washington state is Red -- except for the Puget Sound area, as you know. Can we get them to separate off into Canada??
I too am from Washington State. Appalled to see what has happened while I slept. Well, I'm awake now. AG Bob Ferguson should not even be in office, having been convicted of "malfeasance in office." YET, he "won" the Wa State election for governor, a position he is not even allowed to run for, much less occupy. The corruption is everywhere, with B Ferguson defending WMC in this travesty of a witch-hunt for physicians who simply wish to practice medicine, help patients, and DO NO HARM. (Rant over, for now)
I live in Oregon, moved here from Washington state 30 years ago. We live in a very red county, in southern Oregon, but our state politics is just as bad as WA's. I cannot believe Washingtonians voted Bob Ferguson, what has happened to our beautiful state?
Looking to move to Idaho, or TN or anywhere out of the "worst coast".
Every west coast state that went to all mail-in ballots became "blue" in a very short period of time. The election process cannot be trusted with all mail-in ballots.
I must say, this is a chance to meet people of like mind who align with many of my values. I literally did not know that our Wa state elections are closed, un-auditable. And that while we have state investigators, there are no prosecutors willing to stand up for the people, and end the corruption.
I firmly believe that is going to change as WE the People begin to challenge the officials who took an Oath of Office to uphold the Wa state constitution and the US Constitution. I have to find my part to do in the process.
The last five years has revealed so much...more will be revealed.
Bastrop TX (about 25 mins east of Austin) is nice. Musk has moved a few of his companies here, so it’s a growing job market. We’re close to a city, but it still has a country/red Texas vibe.
These people are deceived or blind to the truth what Covid 19 really is and the successful treatments for it. I told as many people as I could about America's Frontline Doctors and how to get HCQ etc. I feel extremely fortunate that my family and I weren't part of groups or in positions that were illegally forced/coerced to get "the Shot". We need to keep sharing truth because the liars will never stop.
I lived in Seattle in 1969-70. My memory of it was that it was lovely there at that time, although I do remember a yearning to see blue sky and puffy clouds rather than near continual overcast. I don't think it was a leftie hell back then. I wouldn't live there now, however.
My Dad grew up in Louisiana. My Mother grew up in Illinois. Being military, they met in California, after mom went to California to visit her sister( back in the 50’s). Throughout my life, I remember my dad saying, “Deb, I’ve lived coast to coast and border to border, there is not a more perfect place to live. You go further North, it’s too cold, further South, it’s too hot.” After living in several states, I too have come to the conclusion that he was absolutely correct! Beautiful mountains, river, multiple lakes, nice, kind, mostly God fearing people.
I live in Washington state, and I am so appalled at the state government here! Our current AG who will be governor next Jan is a complete clown (and that’s putting it nicely). Hopefully, people like you will make a difference. Like he saying goes, "Grow where you are planted". Be safe.
I'll commiserate with you. I, too, live in WA state, which I refer to as "way over at the end of the world." I cannot leave because of a family situation, but you can. Call a few medical offices in different areas of some red states, and ask.
Mississippi is nice. I make 20k per year more than I did in CA
The midwest is nice. I have lived here my entire life, 65 years, and will never leave. 10 to 15 years ago, I visited CA and NY multiple times, I wouldn't go there now.

Deborah, Bingo! we're on our own to create the kinds of lives we want to live - regardless where we live. And...times change.
Is this Deborah Lynn Palmer formerly of Placentia, California? Chuck Palmer's daughter?
Suggest:
Arkansas upper 1/3 and west; Southern Missouri; Texas and Oklahoma; Idaho?

I think SD also
I have considered that too but not too happy with the lack of trees and water. . . if you like living in the boonies, hunt, fishing.
North eastern OK and eastern central OK, near Lake Eufaula are beautiful areas full of trees although no redwoods and not as many conifers (1/3 conifers and 2/3 deciduous). hey, thanks Michelle.
That sounds pretty great.
Maybe I will be a "sooner"?!
I moved to NC but parts are not red but I love it here. I left AZ but from Michigan which is still blue
I live in Washington as well. Inslee was also a joke and I am glad to get rid of him (would have preferred a jail sentence). Not that his replacement will be better, but maybe more easily despised and replaced?

How gay can ya' be at 78?

That is true, since mail in ballots in all 3 states, there has not been an statewide R elected since.
I must say, this is a chance to meet people of like mind who align with many of my values. I literally did not know that our Wa state elections are closed, un-auditable. And that while we have state investigators, there are no prosecutors willing to stand up for the people, and end the corruption.

I feel your pain same thing in Oregon. I’m leaving for Idaho
