Thirteen former Trump administration officials released an open letter Friday amplifying warnings from John Kelly, Donald Trump’s longest-serving White House chief of staff, that the former president would rule like a dictator if he returned to office.

The former officials wrote that they were shocked but “not surprised” after Kelly, a former Marine general, told The New York Times that Trump had said more than once that “Hitler did some good things” and had complained that U.S. generals were not sufficiently loyal to him.

“This is who Donald Trump is,” wrote the 13, all “lifelong Republicans,” according to the letter. “Donald Trump’s disdain for the American military and admiration for dictators like Hitler is rooted in his desire for absolute, unchecked power.”..

“The American people deserve a leader who won’t threaten to turn armed troops against them, won’t put his quest for power above their needs, and doesn’t idealize the likes of Adolf Hitler,” the letter said….

John Kelly is a rejected and disgruntled former employee. His inflated pride cause him to try to turn the focus from his own incompetency to blame Donald Trump. Much like Kellyanne Conway's husband turned rabidly against Trump the minute he found out Trump would not appoint him to any position in his administration.

Few Presidents have loved and respected the military and our service members as much as President Trump always has - even long, long before running for President. I challenge you to find one video clip anywhere where he idolizes Hitler.

My guess is those 13 are not among the chosen this time around and to cover their own embarrassment and try to salvage some pride are attempting to preemptively make him look bad to cover their own lack and shortcomings. And I haven't even read the letter or who signed it if that's publicly available...

I just found this though, exactly what I said -

"Steven Cheung, Trump's campaign spokesperson, told Newsweek on Friday, "This is nothing more than disgruntled, former low-level employees who had remarkably undistinguished careers in government and are now trying to survive as Never Trump pundits fighting over cable news contracts."

The statement continued, "The fact remains they did not serve their country and President well, and will have to live with that dishonor for the rest of their miserable lives."

Donald Trump refused to accept the fact that he lost the 2020 election. He tried to overturn the election in federal and state courts and lost more than 60 times, because he had no evidence. He summoned his devoted fans to Washington on

Trump is showing increasingly demented behavior. He can't stay on topic, mumbles nonsense and then changes [forgot?] whatever he was talking about. Read what his niece Mary Trump has to say about her uncle.:

Mary Trump writes that Donald Trump’s mother, also named Mary, was “emotionally and physically absent,” and his father, Fred, was worse. “Fred seemed to have no emotional needs at all,” the book says, according to a report in the Los Angeles Times. “In fact, he was a high-functioning sociopath.” Because of this, Mary Trump writes, “Donald suffered deprivations that would scar him for life,” and he developed personality traits that included “displays of narcissism, bullying, grandiosity.”

Just the facts please: compare the total votes for President in 2016, 2020 and 2024. Why in the year 2020 when Trump allegedly “lost” were the total votes so different from the other 2 years? Mail in ballots, stuffing ballot boxes etc perhaps? Think hard now. Use your 🧠

People, believe it or not, can and do actually overcome negatives in their raising.

If you don't believe Democrats cheated in 2020 please explain where the missing nearly 20 million votes went. The numbers from 2012, 2016 and 2024 of Democrat votes is fairly even/steady across all 3 elections, but 2020 suddenly had around 18 million extra Democrat votes - which all disappeared in 2024. Look up the numbers, draw a graph of both Democrat numbers and Republican numbers. Then explain.

Trump did not, ever, encourage J6 rioting, he told the crowds -repeatedly - before the 6th and during - to be peaceful, and to go peacefully. It doesn't get more clear than that. I have much more on this subject but I'm pretty sure it would be wasted time here. I will suggest you look up Antifa provocateurs and what they do, John Sullivan is a good one, and you see his face in many J6 videos, in front and pushing people on. But he was just one of them.

I live such an interesting life so close to a genuinely religious Christian community of Amish people. They are truly a kind, loving (in a very non sentimental way), forgiving people who at the same time tolerate no deviation from righteousness and stalwartly excise from their midst those who do. Now is the time to extend the hand of friendship, to cease all criticism, to invite the politically homeless to rejoin the common good, to allow no return to such evil, to firmly fence out that which is corrupt, to scrupulously clean out all that corrupts within the new administration and lead by example. The holy injunction to Love thy neighbor as thyself is accomplished ONLY by discipline… the discipline of right choices for the good of both. Love is not a feeling, it is a reasoned choice … you make it and then hold firm.

Hosea 4:6 says "My people perish because of lack of knowledge." Knowledge of Our Creator who gives us a discerning spirit. "Be wise as serpents and gentle as doves." As a French-American, I agree with Alexis de Toqueville when he said that America is great because she is good. If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great... as we have witnessed with the last presidency. America is good when she follows in God's precepts. Another factor - Americans don’t like being bullied. And if Trump is Hitler, why is Harris not Stalin?

Expand full comment

Uh, two reasons. A, she lacks the intellectual capacity to understand, and the will to answer even the most elementary of questions. And B, she has absolutely no belief, in anything, except for the apparent conviction that she is, by some mysterious, miraculous fluke, entitled. To everything, or anything.

Here's the thing. Trump won 3 elections in a row. What no one realized was the dems were losing all along during the last 8 years. They weren't gaining. They thought they were. So they proceeded to bully us. We thought they were and we went on defense (half heartedly in some cases) never sure who was on our side.

The 3rd time it was finally made clear what America wants.

Expand full comment

Most Repubs realized that the Dems were losing during the last 8 years, because they figured out the '20 election was stolen. It was Dems who were in denial. That's what the polling shows, at least. IIRC, it showed that ~70% of Repubs thought the election was stolen, and that ~20% of Dems thought it was. Eventually, a majority of independents thought it was, as well, (~50+%).

My own opinion has been that the Biden Admin. has been going full guns, because they knew the election was stolen, and they thought they could keep doing it. They didn't have to listen to voters. Can there be any other conclusion, looking at how the Executive staff behaved with Biden and Harris, thinking they could run the presidency with a senile president, because they were really the ones running it, not him; that they could roll him out into that debate in his condition, then think they could just switch out candidates that late in the game, and still "win"? They were overconfident, and nearly got away with it. Their backup plan of assassinating Trump didn't go as planned. Now they're caught, and they're doing rear-guard actions in this election to preserve their power.

Expand full comment

Yup. A classic example of hubris. The Greek gods are laughing maniacally!

I think that they went full guns because they thought they would be caught and needed to make so many changes that they could not be undone easily when they were booted out of the White House. Expand full comment

Yes. Alterations are made inside the tabulators, and orders are made to print pre-voted ballots, to create the paper record. It's very easy to automate this process. If anyone doubts that, they should observe the logic-and-accuracy testing that's done on the tabulators before an election. They print test ballots by printing ballots with votes on them. I'm not saying they cheat using test ballots. I'm just saying this demonstrates the capability.

If we see states slow-walking the count, you can know they are cheating, and trying to flip races.

They are being very obvious about this. There are fewer votes for House and Senate races than there are for President. The presidential race was decided on Wednesday. As of Friday, they claim they're still counting votes for the Senate and the House. Pure bullshit. I could buy that for one or two races that are very close. In that case, they should've called recounts by now.

Let's just remember that in 2020, states were slow-walking the presidential count, taking one or more weeks to announce their results. That's when they started doing this. It became their backup strategy after Trump won in 2016.

Those of us "in the middle class or striving with integrity to reach that goal" are tired of being squeezed, looked down on and made to suffer too much government overreach. What strange meaning has been attributed to phrases like "dangerous agenda" and "greatest threats" in this context? Protecting children from getting butchered in their mother's womb can't be it, obviously. Likewise, protesting against the LGBETC rights which 99+% of the time are being used for destroying academic life, healthy families, turning the lives of our fellow human beings into goods to be bought and sold for hell knows what purposes, and sowing other destruction like that across a wide range of sound ways of life worth protection can't be it either. Abusing environmental concerns for promoting the man-made climate change hoax isn't a valid argument. And managing the “wealthy and powerful” by simply destroying the production of value, among other things non-material value, doesn't make sense either. So, why not take a close look at the tyrant in the mirror and try to grasp the meaning of meaning until the urge to cultivate destructive BS disappears? Healthy socialism isn't located anywhere near the plain redistribution of wealth, Homo sapiens is an extremely stupid animal as a species, and that's why a simple and extremely dangerous formula applies: printed or otherwise stolen money = no useful work being done = eventually no learning benefits for the critical mass of the stupid-by-default humankind.

The “End of Bureaucracy” video is GOLD. Thank you.

Expand full comment

I've heard from more than one former official inside the Trump Admin. that the bureaucracy thinks what they do is "the best form of democracy" (this is quoting bureaucrats), by which they mean they work very hard to coordinate policies between themselves and "stakeholders" (large corporations, including banks, and NGOs), and take public comment on the rules they draft (which become our law), which they claim they read and consider. We can safely guess they largely ignore these comments, because what's it to them? It's not as if they're going to be fired if they act against the interests of the majority. We can safely say this "democracy" they talk about doesn't include us. It's all about them and their jobs.

Some conservatives have talked for a long time about the progressive dream that goes back to the late 19th century, and which has been realized. The dream comes from the idea that the Constitution (and by extension, our republic) is a historical relic, no longer practical, because the world changes too rapidly for constitutional institutions to keep up. The dream is that an administrative bureaucracy will take over all governmental functions, which can act quickly "in the public interest." Never mind that bureaucracy never acts quickly on anything, and that it doesn't act in the public interest. It acts in its own interest.

Bureaucracy is needed, because it helps create an orderly process, but if it is not restrained, it becomes a cancer.

Expand full comment

It's my conclusion that fascism has long been misidentified as a right-wing ideology. Historically, it's come from the left. Though, this isn't what most people are taught. A few authors have documented this. Jonah Goldberg wrote a book many years ago, called "Liberal Fascism." He actually got the title from a quote by a progressive from the 1930s (I believe it went, "What we need is a liberal fascism ..."). Many 1930s progressives were big fans of Mussolini. Dinesh D'Souza has documented in his book, "The Big Lie" that Democrats were working hand in hand with the Nazis, prior to WW II, and then whitewashed that history, post-WW II, once the horrors of the Holocaust were revealed. He talked about how some of the Nazis' policies were lifted right out of Democrats' history and policy playbook.

This is typically denied by the Left, because they disavow Nazi racism, and their nationalism, but on deeper inspection, there's much more similarity to the left than to the right. A point I drive home is Hitler wasn't trying to lower taxes, and decrease regulation on business. Quite the opposite.
