Absolutely agree! My eating habits changed drastically this past May, as I had to have emergency surgery, & found out a portion of my intestines had to be removed as I believe a large pouch in/on my upper intestines ruptured. I evidently had small perforations in my upper (I believe) intestines, which leaked bile & food into my stomach. I was told I have Diverticulous (sp), which turned to Diverticulious (again Sp). I have totally changed my diet & eat proteir (beef/chicken, etc) more; cut back on certain fiber foods, & drink a lot of water! Cut carbs/bread/sugar & still trying to figure out what caused my surgery. The surgery was so traumatic, I started loosing portions of my hair- which I now believe was the antibiotics & anasteshia (sorry- I have a tiny key board & I can’t spell correctly). So, eating healthy & clean, reading labels for food, as well as hair products & cosmetics! More probiotics work for me now- I love fermented foods & that will probably be my internal savior for a better health life-style, as well as keeping active!
