Dr. Malone, I found the remainder of your interview on the Lifesite News page. The spiritual discussion was very interesting to me. I definitely believe that there is an evil being (whom you referred to as Lucifer) who is deceiving people. The Bible refers to him as the "father of lies." He can do nothing apart from God allowing him to do it, which leads to the big, unanswerable question, "Why is there evil in the world?" To answer that, I have to acknowledge, as the Bible says, that "God's ways are higher than our ways." I would encourage you, and all the readers, to forget religion and its failures and to focus on Jesus, as He is revealed in the Bible, from beginning to end. He is able to give us peace, as Philippians 4:6-7 explains. "Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." This is the only thing that keeps me going these days, although I am certainly greatly helped by the efforts of you and the other people of integrity who are speaking out. Thank you again for helping us.
Well said, Anne. As depressing and scary as this whole thing is, I am encouraged by the revival that is happening right in front of our eyes. For example, the rally yesterday in Sacramento started with prayer and many speakers spoke of their faith. I see that over and over, and have never seen anything like it. It gives me hope---we have fighters like the Malones, Margaret, and the other warriors, and we also have God. We have our work cut our for us, and these are dark, difficult times, but we know that in the end, He wins.

I just ordered a book by Pastor Erwin Lutzer entitled, "The Serpent in Paradise - The Incredible Story of How Satan's Rebellion Serves God's Purposes." It's an intriguing premise, to say the least.
This whole situation has brought me closer to God. I used to say (like Oscar Wilde) "I don't believe in God but I miss him". Now I see, I am searching for God (and as my close Catholic friend told me "if you are looking for him, you have found him". So comforting.
